I dont want to jinx it, but.,
So far, while we have had a few very cold days in NYC this winter, with some more very cold days expected next week.
Except for one snowfall that I can remember, that was.. far from heavy, we have had very little snow in NYC this winter, even though it is only mid January.
By last year at this time, we already had a snowfall that was close to a foot before Christmas.
After that we had a giant storm of over a foot of snow in early Feb, and a snow of several inches only a few days after the major early Feb snowstorm.
I guess that having very cold days, as long as they are dry like they have been so far, is still better than major snowstorms like we had last winter in NY.
We will see how the rest of this winter plays out.
