Mods....I'm shocked that it is not up! fairFeather's archive
Yes....why does fairfeather not have an archive of his own?....why?
-
They offered me one. I just said no for the time being.

NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo

Fairfeather here also did mention somewhere that most of his previous artworks were wiped out when his hard drive was cleaned out. Though ticklygirl had some archives for his stuff, her site is down now. A shame, really.

I have some of his work saved Let me know how I can help If it's a few days before I answer, don't worry I drive big rig for a living Sometimes it's a few days until I can connect to the net

General Zod please feel free to post what you got. I've put up the old ones I still have in the artwork forum.
-
The offer still stands Fair, if you get your art back ever.

I really think you should get an archive set up, Fairfeather. Your work is just too good for people to have the chance to pass it by.

-> FF.
Then again, you must be comfortable with sharing all of your pics again.
Having them hosted on your web space is a thing, getting your own gallery is another.
...
In a way, it requires commitment and creates expectations.
Once they host you, you feel compelled to draw, and you can't change your mind all that easily when you post something.
Your threads never sink back into oblivion, and once you're dissatisfied with a pic, you can't simply blame the server for eating it up - when you just want it to disappear.
Why on earth - might users ask - would an artist want to delete his own pics?
Well... some of them are picky with their own art: they draw or paint on a whim, and maybe, on a later time, they grow tired with their own creations.
Problem is, once you post pics online, they effectively get frozen in time, and you can't really update them with whatever new tricks you've learnt so far.
That is, you can, but users are already familiar with your earlier version, and you can't really delete it from people hds, should you create something newer or better.
...
Oh well.

If nothing else, it would ensure that in the future the artwork doesn't get so easily lost. I'd love to see a fairfeather archive here.
