They appear on television so often that their faces are as familiar to the public as presidents and movie stars. They are the Dallas Cowboys, America's Team.

I'm not usually a strong follower of tv series, but HBO has had some outstanding programs in recent years. I didn't miss one episode of Six Feet Under, nor Soprano's so far. And the new series "ROME" has been absolutely outstanding.... I'm hooked

I don't watch a lot of TV religiously, I'm more of a movie guy (you should see the size of my DVD collection!).

However, there are a few shows that I do make time for. I never miss an episode of Family Guy. Funniest show ever.

The one drama that I make sure to set time aside for is 24. I get hooked every season from the first episode. Kiefer Sutherland just rocks on that show, not to mention how engagingly written it is. I just can't miss one.

Believe it or not, I was actually into Desperate Housewives...for the first three episodes. At the very start, I was under the impression that it was going to be a quirky and dark Twin Peaks-ish sort of thing. Took 'em three hours to turn it into a stupid watercooler Dynasty-ish estrogen catwalk.

A new show that I've gotten completely hooked on is The War at Home on Fox. Micheal Rappaport is the Archie Bunker of the 21st Century. I feel this guy's pain. Absolutley hilarious.

"Night Stalker" - God that show is incredible....and not just because it stars Stuart Townsend, either! *drool*

"Ghost Hunters" - No secret that Lazzy and I are obsessed with the paranormal, and this show just kicks all sorts of paranormal reality ass.

"Aqua Teen Hunger Force" - Anyone who is a fan of the show knows why and I won't need to explain it. Besides, it's beyond explanation. All I know is Carl rules.

"America's Funniest Home Videos" - I just simply love that show...especially now that Tom Bergeron is hosting. He's awesome. It's always fun to laugh at others misfortunes....providing they are not serious. (though the animal clips always crack me up the most)

"CSI" - Only the original, Las Vegas version. Not all the spawns like CSI Miami, CSI NY, or CSI Hell, MI. The whole cast rocks, and each show is done so damn well. Grisome is god.

"Viva La Bam" - Don Vito. Need I say anything more? Bam and Raab and Ryan and Chris and Rake....not to mention Phil and Ape. They just rule. And the music kicks ass.

And of course all the wrestling programs. That goes without saying.

I don't watch anything in prime time because I'm either asleep at that time of day, or I'm at rehearsal at the civic theater. (My shift at work is 2 a.m. to 11 a.m.) The only series I'm hooked on hard enough to videotape is The West Wing. I avoided that show like the plague when it first came on, figuring that, being a network series about a Democratic president, it would be one left-wing screed after another. I've since discovered that it's pretty even-handed, politically, not to mention brilliantly written (especially the first few seasons) and acted.
The only TV series I own on DVD is the complete Fawlty Towers.

    Canada's Worst Driver

Based on the UK hit "Britain's Worst Driver", eight of Canada's Worst Drivers (as nominated by friends, family and co-workers) compete to prove that they aren't Canada's Worst Driver. Through a series of challenges, like navigating, backing-up, braking, driving on ice and parallel parking (with special 'twists' just to make it interesting), the nominees attempt to vindicate themselves, with the reward of being allowed to go home.

What I found...interesting about this series was how spectacularly atrocious some of these licensed drivers were. It was hilarious and horrifying at the same time.

Yeah maybe so to you maybe. But there Music is such watered down teenage crap. That is why for the last few years or so i have looked up alot more online for bands and artists to get into and like rather then only stick to what channels like Mtv Mtv2 and Vh1 play..... I want to expand my music tastes Which i have.

Las Vegas, Busting Vegas, Desperate Housewives, Mythbusters. Most stuff on the Science Channel. History channel too.

Dave, you're nuts for giving up on Desperate Housewives. It's a hoot, good writing, good acting.
