Hi fellow TMF members. Over the years we have all seen alot of great mainstream tickling. As a matter of fact some of it actually leaves a "stamp" on a certain section of our lives as we are becoming who we are. We all have that defining moment that we refer to, where we knew without a doubt, that we were into the tk scene.
One scene stands out about the rest and remains the "scene of all scenes" to most of the mature TK members about. That is the tickling scene in the film
Brothers Karamazov which was made in 1958. It was a great scene in which Lee Cobb takes a feather and uses the quill end to tickle poor Gloria Pall's Bare Feet. I think the most amazing part of this scene was that Gloria seemed to really be ultra ticklish as this all happened!
Well let the truth be told...she is and was that ticklish. The scene was shot over 8 hours and poor Gloria suffered like you would not believe.
About 5-6 years ago she came across my website called "HotelTickle" and saw a collage of her on my site. She wrote me and asked if the tk community would like to read how and why she got the part. I told her "YOU BET THEY WOULD," and so she decided to write the book.
Can you believe this...a celebrity amongst us? How long have we dreamed of that? Anyhow, she did the book and I think it is time we all pay our repects by purchasing the book as part of our tk heritage.
I have known this lady for quite a while now and she is awesome...as a matter of fact she is thinking of participating in the tk community again if folks will talk with her. As a friend of hers I ask you all to purchase a copy of tk history and help an awesome woman out.
thanks for posting this, daddy.. i've often heard about that scene in the movie, but never watched it myself. and of course i would love to talk with her. and not because she was an actress, but because she shares this love of tickling. i heard she also has a website where she mentions this scene. and i knew about the book. she is and was quite a beauty.
FIVE STARS RE GLORIA'S BOOK "TICKLED IN THE BROTHERS K."
again and again here in this forum we hear that many MANY like myself consider Gloria Pol's being tickled in the movie THe Borthers K" to be THE best mainstream scene ever! In the film "the Brotheres Karamazov" she is a prostitue or loose woman tied to a bed in late 19 century-early 20th century Russia and tickled on her gorgeous feet with a huge feather as she laughs hysterically. This scene has it all: a beautiful and seductively dressed woman, decadence, bondage, lust, preparatory drinking, a group of musicians trying to put the victim in "the right mood," a prolonged foot tickling with hysterical laughter and writhing, a sadistic tickler, etc. etc. It is TRULY a classic. Experienced actress and REAL dish Gloria Pol who sadly was omitted from the credits as "the tickled peasant lady" has done a TREMENDOUS job writing a pamphlet size book that gives all the details of this treasured scene she performed as well as still publicity pictures and reviews that mention the scene which opened a soso 1959 film. IN MY MIND THIS SCENE DEFINES THE TICKLING FETISH! Her book is a must for tickling fans and is available on her web site. Thanks gloria for the scene and the awesome booklet with pics weve not seen before and awesome recollections of a REAL tickling that truly went on for hours. THANKYOU!
I always loved your site! While I'm sad that it is gone, you did something for us, the ticklephiles, when others have not - and you're a musician as well! I bought Gloria's book through finding out about it via you. And just last year I send her the Life Magazine with the Brothers K pictorial which she signed it for me. There was a fee involved, but I'm fine with that.
It would be great if she were to be involved with the community! I assume that she's not a ticklephile, but just wants to give 'us' something, a chance for tickle fans to interact with someone who has an interesting story to share, while possibly making some money promoting something personal to her that we ticklers may be interested in. Fine by me! I'd love to get out to one of the film conventions or Glamourcons that she attends every now and then and meet her in person, but it looks like I'm more or less stuck her in Texas for a while.
would she be opened to giving us a tickling demonstration?
to again make that scene come alive--a fifty year anniversary commemoration. Something to think about, Gloria if you are listening would you consider doing this again--one more time! im sure there is no dearth here of those who who would LOVE to play Lee J Cobb's role and tickle you to eroticisied insanity! Her beauty, her smile, that laugh: GLORIA PALL! Now if I could just find out what the name of that wild Russian guitar/violin music piece was in "The Brothers Karamazov" (I have my Romanian Great-Grandmother's 120-year-old-violin/fiddle) so I could obtain the music and learn to play this great "Tickling Scene Music" as well! This scene was what turned me into a foot-tickler as a a child, and perhaps, along with my "Granny", a musician too!

However.... (No disrespect indended)
I think the tickling scene in "The Cement Garden" was better. Had the girl not lost bladder control at the end, I think it would have been almost perfect!
Are you still in contact with her? Not only do I own the book but she signed my Life magazine and I've writtne her a few time ssince. She's great.
As a favor for her I was trying to track down a National Lampoon back issue featuring a photo of her as "Voluptua" but have not had any luck with that.
Is she just hot or what? Sorry I couldn't descreen these a little better. They are from The Bound Beauties of Irving Klaw & John Willie, 1947-1963, Volume Two.
