BAC!!!!!! Damn skippy. I can't believe it. But damn am I happy. I may put my pencil down and never draw another tickle drawing again...not. But I am so glad you're back. This is going to inspire my own work. Yay!

BAC!!!! Welcome back!!!!!

I have ALWAYS loved your work and bought through your mail order back in the mate 80's (I guess I'm old too!). You are the Di Vinci of tickling. Amazing stuff. Sooooo glad you have returned to us. You, with one eye tied behind your back, just to make it fair, will dazzle us again...No pressure LOL.

A big thanks to your wife for talking you into this, we owe her a debt of graditude as well.

BAC, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the wonderful work you've given us. You were the first tickling artist whose comics I saw when I first came to the Internet, and you are still the best, the fount from which all others flow. I'm very happy to see you starting to take an active part in the online community; your stuff has been posted and re-posted and circulated and colored and cropped and squeezed and outright mangled so much, it's probably high time that the creator of it all had his say. I, like pretty much everyone else here, am looking forward to what you come up with next; I'm sure it will be the stuff of legend.

chinese torture

Hello Bac, I have always been a true admirer of your work, since 1999 when I first got online. I have been looking for a draw of yours for quite a while, I cant find it anywhere anymore, it's the busty american spy tickle tortured by chinese men, she is kneeling on a table with her arms stretched over her head. I would love it if you or someone else would post it. Thank you, and welcome back.

Okay, it's down.

In fact, in a moment of silliness here's a picture of me & my tattoos. :rotate:

In a perfect world, of course, BAC, you would've brought Phillipe to life to "convince" me to take it down. LOL

I see that someone has actually posted the illustration that you have requested.

I am going to ask that it be removed from the forum because I will be releasing a really high quality jpg. of that illustration in a package of illustrations in the next month or so.

The title of that illustration is "Prisoner of the Tong." It is one of my faves too.

I am truly floored by the news that you are coming back, my friend. Much of the success I have had has been because of you, however indirectly. Yours was the first tickling art I can remember seeing that focused on strict bondage and a more fetishistic approach.

I can't wait to see the new stuff!

Good luck on all of your future endeavors. :triangle:

Wow! BAC, I never thought I'd see the day!

I'm looking forward to purchasing your future works. Hey, any chance of doing a foot torment comic? Just a thought! :devil2:

I'm so stoked you decided to come out of retirement! Welcome back, man! :D

Nice to see you back. Your work was the first I ever saw many years ago. Can't wait for the new stuff.

Can you also throw in some nylon foot tickling from time to time? Thanks!

Welcome back my friend......

From FeatherMates look at the internet, pretty amazing huh? Think about how we thought the Macintosh was the 9th Wonder. I hope you and the family are well. Anyone questioning your authenticity should be drawn and quartered.....

Anyway, hope the Harley's still running......I still wonder if Brad and Bill Davis are still alive, but above all, I couldn't be happier that you've made an appearance on here. The speculation has run wild, but all along I knew you never went anywhere. I PM'd you, hope to hear back. It would be truly fantastic to catch up. I've thought about you over the years and how you're doing. Good to know you're okay. Anyway, let's talk.

Later,

Coop

I've been away on vacation and just noticed this thread. Wow... this is really special! Words cannot express my enthusiasm. Your work has and always will be a continuing source of inspiration!

BAC, Thanks to your wife for encouraging you to return to
drawing/cartooning images which have entertained, delighted,
inspired and encouraged so many of us. It's great to have
you among fans.

Lee

P.S. Jami - Yes, people do. And I've even quoted your last
one recently...

As you appear to be, it's such a pleasure for all here to have you bac/k

-Just another in a long line of "OMG HE'S RETURNED" postings which are only appropriate for the Ultimate Tickle Artist. :xpulcy:

I was also relieved & astounded to find your artwork, in particular, when I began searching in 1999 online (though if I had the knowledge or nerve to look I'd have bought your artwork/collections in the 80's...) Utterly mindblowing.... :atom:

Hope we haven't overdone the Welcome Bac/k!! And that you are prospering in the Outside World, sharing your remarkable gifts with (the rest of them) as well... You probably feel like Horton of the Whos right about now.... Or maybe Obi-Wan Kenobi.... :Hyrdrogen
And I see thanks are DEFINITELY in order to your wife as well!!
:dogpile:

o wow...Sadistickler told me you were here on the forum, and i didn't believe him....i love your artwork so much..the details and facial expressions are truly priceless...i have all twenty nine issues of tales of the asylum, in which i think you have many illustrations...let me join in bowing to the great BAC....

Hey Bac....

Now that we have you around enough to trade questions, I suppose we can hit you, a veteran and legend in the community to provide your own reputable insight into an issue that's plagued many a knismolagniac for some time:

What is your opinion on the use of sexual content in tickling art?

Because we've had several opinions on it ranging from "sex & nudity in tickling = pornography" to "sex & nudity compliment the subtle intimacy of an inherently sexual practice" and everything in between and nobody's managed to make any headway before the issue burns out into a flame war.

Most of your work reflects the halcyon era artwork style of the expressionist 1940s and futurist/proto-modernist 1950s with exagerrated dichotomy between victim and evildoer and eschews nudity for tease, but at the same time we've seen a few works like "Tender Foot & Laughing Dove" that TicklishLurker mentioned with some affinity that is quite explicit, and I can't find a reason to champion one over the other provided that the integrity of the image and scene aren't violated by insincere content.

I was wondering if you could give us your opinion...maybe it could even be a storyline for one of your upcoming works.

On top of that, do you keep to your traditional tone and style because of familiarity with the time period you grew up in, or is it out of disdain for postmodern era contextlessness and exaggeration? Or is it because you just like it? I'm not judging, I'm just curious about what a seasoned artist with a definable look thinks about the kind of stuff going on in contemporary work.

I've been away for nearly 2 months, and I missed out on the return of the guy who's inspired many artists, including myself, and defined what today's tickling art should look like. I think I should retire right now... :p

The BACman, the BAC-a-re-no, the BACster, BAC

WELCOME OH GREAT ONE :bowing: I think one of the seven seals have just been broken.

In my eyes you`ve never left; your early work is still as potent as the day it was created. Glad to see you here!

Alan

And to think, we have your wife to thank for you coming back to us.
Would we all could have a mate like that. You are blessed, sir. In more ways than one.

We know art when we see it...

The explosion of enthusiasm over BAC's re-emergence demonstrated by this thread is a vindication of creators like BAC whose work is thoughtful, distinctive, and crafted with care. The TMF bustles with oft-furious activity and spontaneity, but occasionally I wish that more contributors would invest their work with the flair and brio that BAC lovingly infuses in his.<p>If for no other reason than the inspiration you'll fire in us all--ignoring for a moment the delicious prospect of NEW works bearing the BAC imprint--your return to the fore is the best news a oft-sorry 2006 has yielded!:bowing:

Bac is the best

BAC, so happy that you are back on the scene! I think you are the best ever at translating the tickling community's collective evil imagination into 'reality'. I've loved your work since I first stumbled upon a single comic page with a few panels showing a lovely girl being tickle tortured for information. I remember examining that page over and over, marveling at how perfectly you drew the scene and how well you captured her facial expresions and bare feet! It quickly became my favourite piece of art, ever. I loved that detail you put into the stocks holding the girl's ankles, and the loops of rope dangling from the rod, which I knew would be used later for something more devious. For years I went nuts, wondering about that comic and praying that I would one day get to see the whole thing. Lo' and behold you turn up again and the first thing I did was go to your web-site and purchase 'There's No Business Like Toe Business'. I could hardly wait for it to download, and when I finally got to see, it was even better than I could have imagined.

I got so inspired by it that I showed it to my wife as an example of the finest tickling art on the planet. She enjoyed it, but of course she also gave me that 'raised eye-brows' look, A.K.A. 'don't get any ideas'! Mmmm, just the thought of spending an evening with my wife in such a situation... it's probably the only thing that could top your art!
