I found these little critters while I was walking around the house. You know those holes some houses have that lead under the house? Or into the basement? Well usually some small animals fall in and can't get out. So unless someone gets them out, or they find a way out on their own. They die. So that's actually why I check almost everyday. They are small, but a living being is a living being.
Well I found these two. I was going to keep them as pets, but thought they deserved to be free. So I let them go. Even though it says lizard, these little guys are 'Salamanders'. And one was carrying. And I don't think I would have been prepared to take care of baby salamanders.
On a side note, I found a totally baller praying mantis chilling on the D-scale belt at UPS. It was HUGE. All I could imagine was putting a little string around its' neck and taking it for walkies. That's how big this thing was. I mean, who wouldn't want that as a pet?
But I was worried I'd find a way to kill it so I let it go. Ohh, but what could have been.

It's funny you should mention that because I've actually had two praying mantis's hanging around the house. They would leave and come back. Not nearly as big as I've seen them before.
