Another Soaking Rain

Just a little over a week after NYC was soaked by Tropical Storm Henri.

We are going to get hit again today.

By the rain of what was Hurricane Ida.

According to the forecast on www.weather.com.

NYC is supposed to receive at least three to five inches of rain today, and more flooding.

Two major rainstorms from Tropical Systems in one week.

This is rather unusual.

Well Mitch, about 12:30 on 9/2, see that Ida's remnants are hitting you about now. Batten down, and stay safe. (It kinda skirted us down here, but still.... did a hell of a lot of damage elsewhere)

The more carbon and methane we put up into the atmosphere Mitch, the more extreme weather we'll get due to the oceans warming because the heat gets trapped there and cannot escape the planet. That means more floods and more wildfires.

That's right, more storms, more insanely high temperatures, the planet is preparing to eject its most idiotic parasites.

But the uber-rich industrialists couldn't give less of a rat's ass, never have, especially if they're older. If humanity is largely burnt off the planet, they'll either be insulated or dead of old comfortable age soon enough...

What is that movie with Matt Damon? The Martian? Where the super rich have their comfy bubbles and the rest of humanity is miserable --- So many apocalyptic movies with those themes seem a little more prophetic now, unfortunately. :/
