I know the stereotype is (heterosexual) women feel more comfortable tickling each other and it doesn’t have to mean anything - which is kind of true

In my experience, no. After childhood, it never happens among straight men - and would be weird if it did.

I've seen it happen as an adult a few times. Mostly because the person getting tickled is extremely ticklish so the others think it's funny.

I don't tickle people outside of my content or a session and then they're only women. Not that there's anything wrong with M/M tickling of any type.

I’d say it’s somewhat common between younger vanilla men, even if they’re straight. But in terms of straight male tickle fetishists, I’d imagine most of them would probably get the ick from that. (Correct me if I’m wrong, gents!)
