How Would One Go About Setting Up A Studio?

Greetings!

I've been wondering how I could start up a studio for making tickling videos. I need a way to build up a reputation, though I live in a rural area. Does anybody have any suggestions? Should I try my luck with online dating sites to draw women in, or should I meet face-to-face with local women and see how things go in a conversation?

This is something that I wrote for someone else who seems to have deleted their question. I don't and have never owned a studio, but I was strongly considering it one time and thought about it a lot. I have advertised myself before. The main difference is that you don't live in a big city. Maybe you will find some of my ideas helpful.

Any store owner here would tell you this, but before you take any actions, I would talk to a lawyer and an accountant to let them know what you want to do.

Make some business cards if you plan to talk to people face to face. I'd recommend that you at least have a social media Page set up with an ad that describes your business/studio and what you do, so people have something to better understand what you do.

This may not be your situation, but I certainly didn't have MUCH money. So, I only considered offering a couple of hundred dollars for a clip that lasted 10 minutes, and ABSOLUTELY suggested that the model wear a mask, maybe even one that covered the whole face, for privacy. That way, it would be reasonable for me to only pay a couple hundred dollars for their modelling because the clip would technically not be as valuable hiding their facial expressions. And it certainly wouldn't be as much of an investment on the part of the model's privacy because their face was hidden.

There are several ways to meet people, the good thing is that you already have the capacity for this, so good for you!

Social media is a good way to advertise, but I remember a story was posted here not too long ago of a man who met a fetish model for a private session who literally left him tied to a bed and robbed him. In addition to people looking to take advantage of models, there are definitely opportunists out there on the internet looking to take advantage of YOU too. So, it is to your benefit that you make friends outside of the internet easily.

One thing I would have done was put an ad out in local or internet listings, the kind that ALLOWED such an advertisement. There are websites specifically for that. But you could also just as easily network on social media, or even here.

If you live near a busier town, you may also benefit by going out to meet and seek people. In addition to just talking about your challenge to people you meet who want to try something fun or just need a few dollars, you could also go out of your way to find the people who regularly participate in this sort of thing. I would recommend leaving an ad in local bars, adult toy stores and maybe coffee shops and beauty salons that allow it. There are people involved with entertainment industries like amateur photography or art models, amateur actors, dance class/studios members, cosplayers, street performers, people who work at fairs and carnivals, as well as adult entertainers like exotic dancers and adult movie models who would like to participate in your videos.

One thing that would really encourage people to connect with you who you haven't met you yet but find your ad will be to include a link to your social media page or website on the ad, showing things about you and your studio's mission.

When I was in a small town, a lot of people advertised themselves on Facebook, on their local or state "YARD SALE" pages and groups. They're not actual yard sales, they're only called that. They're Facebook pages and groups used as the local want ads for things jobs to advertise and things to sell and buy. When I lived in a small town and low population County, people used that more than Craigslist. Some of them might not allow modeling ads, especially for adult entertainment. But others have very few restrictions. Look on Facebook for your local, city, county, state, tri-state, etc. "Yard Sales", and for other groups in your area for advertising for models. There might be more people looking for activities like this than you think!

After someone called back by phone to ask about your ad, I would offer to pay a certain amount for arriving at a somewhat private but still public, outdoor location. There, you could sit down, talk a little, review two proofs of id to prove their age, and test them to see if they're ticklish. Then schedule another day to film in your home or studio, suggesting that they bring a friend to the filming location for their own security. Pay a small percentage upfront for arriving and the rest after the video is filmed.

Getting advice here isn't always encouraging. Get your tax and legal tips from a lawyer, but focus only on what you want to do and the people who share that enthusiasm. Do what you're passionate about and have fun!

I've been wondering how I could start up a studio for making tickling videos. I need a way to build up a reputation, though I live in a rural area. Does anybody have any suggestions? I started with friends, who recommended other friends. I somehow eventually got a Model Mayhem profile and by the grace of god it's stayed up, which has helped a lot (that said, fetish producers are notoriously booted without warning from the site, so don't depend on that too much). Dating sites and apps could work, as anyone willing to engage with you on those are (usually...) interested in you to some extent, and will likely be willing to give you a benefit of the doubt to at least try. Moreso than a random stranger, anyway.

Do not randomly approach people. Ever. I don't care if other people say they've done it in it works. It'll probably not work for you, and one or two negative encounters, especially for someone starting from nothing, will be detrimental beyond belief. The last thing you want, especially in a rural area, is a reputation as a guy who runs up on people in public asking them for tickling.

Your best chance is getting a pretty good, open minded friend who wants $100 to shoot a starter video to be used as an example to show other people. I don't advise linking random Tickle Abuse videos or anything like that, as it could give people a different idea of your intentions than what you have planned (TA videos eventually evolved into more or less "real" porn by the end of the Golden Era, something presumably you don't want a normie thinking you're trying to coax them into doing. The first step is a big one, one you'll no doubt become frustrated as fuck trying to achieve, but it'll be a healthy foundation to build from. Once you have that one video, it'll be much, much easier to discuss with people you're trying to recruit. Very few people are going to truly understand what a "tickling video" actually entails just going off of a description. Show don't tell, and that'll make life easy.

Also, be honest that it's fetish shit. They don't need to be naked, no dicks need to be involved, but inform them of what it is. It's not a "silly challenge", it's not "just some quirky shit I like to do", it's fetish shit. That's not as big a roadblock as people initially believe it is... unless you attempt to trick people into it.

Find a friend (or date or whatever), and try to make the video as respectable as possible. Doesn't need to be A-list producer good, just not total shit. That one video is going to help you a lot going forward.
