Amazon is a bleak look at what will be our future, the future of humanity. I know a few people that were caught up in the 14,000 Amazon layoffs and theyre pretty upset about it. Especially after several years of hard work and dedication to a company that will fire or lay you off without a second thought.
So the question is, what can we really do? Amazon is one of the largest and most powerful companies in the world. We're essentially powerless little ants compared to it.
I will be canceling my Amazon credit card and Prime membership next week and I will no longer be shopping at Amazon, but really, what difference does this make? None. Its a joke. We can't fight AI and we cant fight the corporations. All we can do is sit here and take the abuse. If anyone has any suggestions, share them I guess. Not that it will matter in the long run.
