I 100% do not agree with people sharing brand new clips. I myself have never shared a single clip on any platform. I have occassionaly found a literally brand new clip uploaded to one of the piracy sites and if I were that producer I would be angry. I may or may not have downloaded a bunch of pirated stuff. I have on occassion actually then went and bought the higher quality clip right from C4S. If the clip I pirated had no bondage the producer didn't lose anything from me as bondage is essential in my fantasy.

However, what does annoy me as much is old (think 20+ years old) content that I believe legally would be pirated if it were uploaded to those sites, but why? I get movies. You know MGM and 20th Century Fox movies, but porn clips from 20 years ago when camera tech was so much poorer than it is now and if anyone wanted that stuff then they've already downloaded it, with the exception of French or Bleu who have started to upload AI enhanced videos from years ago on C4S.

Add to that that most if not all producers eventually die, get out of the biz, etc. And what really irks me about that is there is virtually no way for me to ever get that content ever again legal or otherwise.

Now I'm 41 so I've been around since 2000-2002 and so at least since 2002 if I wanted anything I bought it. Yes I have spent more than $20,000 on porn clips.

What really irks me is that there were probably very quality (in terms of the model and her ticklishness) clips that are forever lost and were even before my time and unless someone finds an old hard drive and uploads them they're gone forever. And a dream I have sometimes like what if I won the lottery is what if a bunch of Solefully Yours or Harmony Concepts clips got uploaded to one of the piracy sites and what if a few of those clips became some of my all time favorites?

Yes, it's still piracy. Harmony for example still sells their clips. So does FM concepts. And so do I for that matter, and my clips are over twenty years old now.

People might still be earning money from them, or even if they're not they still have the right to decide to.

I get where you're coming from, but it's really not a question of the age of the clip, it just not up to anyone but the owner to decide what to do with them. Some producers have in fact dumped all their content into the public domain when they retire, but you can't make that decision for them.

Yeah for the most part, sites of old that aren't around anymore should be free game to upload not to illegally share, but more to keep them archived as the dawn of the fetish content era. I mean not long ago the Links section here was still going and it had some *OLD* ass websites being linked to them (SWTickling.com and the like) And if you wanna relive THAT nostalgia train, here's a wayback machine link to it's main page and it's many side pages.(God this is wild to look at again with everything kinda being made via Geocities back then) https://web.archive.org/web/20041216021942/http://swtickle.com/

But yeah, if the clips are still being sold, definitely a no-no to have them uploaded. Gotta support these creators as much as we can!

Harmony Concepts has a different name? I wasn't aware that I had anything from them as I arrange my collection by producer and I don't have a folder listed.

It is a really interesting topic, but I am quite "shocked" by some ideas like "old content should be free", etc.

People tend to forget that there is a contract behind each clip. If the contract is good enough, it lists the differents sites the model gave her authorization for.

Unless you have a special authorization from a model, you can't do whatever you want with a clip because you're not allowed to do whatever you want. The contract is binding and it can cause serious consequences if a producer ignore that, especially in a world with such amazing technological progress with AI. Nowadays, a model's face can be deepfaked or whatever... I won't let my videos be everywhere and give to the world something which could cause severe damage to my models' private life :flapflap:

In my view, it is. No content should be shared freely, regardless of its age, unless it aligns with the producer's intention. Frequently, the intrinsic value of the dedicated work is undervalued, and it's disheartening to witness certain individuals intentionally diminishing this aspect through acts of piracy.

Moreover, there seems to be a subset that overlooks the moral and legal imperative of meticulously adhering to established agreements, particularly concerning the removal of videos upon models' requests, for example. But some producers also tend to think they are above the law, as they persist in releasing videos even when the contract has long expired. This is no better than piracy.

Thanks for sharing that insight. Hadn't thought of that. Just was mostly thinking that in a world where that stuff was available at one time and isn't anymore, that if any of it was top notch quality, what a loss that is that the content is gone.

Yeah I'm not sure about that being the case. I have heard people who pirate stuff online complain that they refuse to pay the prices asked for. I'm assuming from my own personal experience this is because a LOT of people aren't very well off. Something the rich never seem to understand. But free isn't fair either.
