I am receiving new floods of E-mail informing me of a replies to threads in which I never participated.

Before now, I only got notices when I posted in a thread.

What did I do ?

Is it a Java thing ? A cookies thing ? A profile thing ? Say huhhh ?

I am confused.

You accidently clicked on subscribe to forum someplace. Thus you are getting ALL new posts for that forum.

Go to your profile check subscriptions and fix as needed.

If I answer a poll, am I then automagically subscribed to it is associated thread ?

That looks like what may have started the flood.

No, answering a poll will not do it.

Odds are when you tried to click something you clipped the 'subscribe to forum button' on some forum by accident and got subscribed. Were you able to clean it up?

Look what happened to my profile ! That's quite a "location" for me, isn't it ?

Really Myriads, that is a bona fide error; it was not done on purpose.

Okay, I'm going to try to fix this now, and fix the other stuff after I fix whatever I break after that.

If the mail stops then you got it You tell me.

It might be an error they do happen. This has happened to a few others and it was usualy due to the accidental click method that I discussed above. Did it to myself once
