I might be wrong, but I think Starfires was taling about the difference between Ed and Karen's cases: he was pointing out that there has been less concern about Ed because you didn't ban him completely, as you did with Karen.

You seem to be replying about the other host whom you removed some time back. Ironically what you see as a less diplomatic approach in that case may have kept it from blowing up as this has, because in that case he and others presumably knew the reasons. That's a lot of what folks have looking for here.

I see where you feel differently about this than I and others in the event. Sadly, there are folks who WERE staying out of this that are now very much taking sides for or against. That was avoidable. These are my friends, and folks who respect me. Where I've no problem with people disliking my views on my events, I don't know that any of you wanted her to be seen in a negative light.

Has she and her husband not participated here, this could still have been left as a conflict between two people.

I might be misunderstanding what you mean, but it seems to me that this had gone beyond two people for a page or two before she chimed in. Those who like and respect each of you had begun choosing sides even before this thread opened, I suspect.

Oddly, I still have had no requests for removal. I don't know that this thread needs to live any longer, save as historic reference.
