My October practice pics to date. Got heckuva lot more practice to do before I get as good as I want to.

Practice Days 6 and 7.

Traced the faces as point of this is the body anatomy. Still a long way to go, but practice makes perfect.

Days 8 and 9. Catching up.

Feet relatively easy now. Torsos however...

Day 11 practice pic. Devious devices. Working on perspective and form. Practice for this weekend's pic featuring a certain orange lady who's tv show just ended.

Days 12 - 14. All caught up. Counting 2nd pic as double as spent circa 2 hours doing multiple gesture sketches from my Asanoya Kittsu hentai tickling collection.

Has definitely helped me to loosen up I think.

1st pic is 11th plus added machinery.

WIP on my Ahsoka pic. I'm counting this as my daily art practice. Not rendered much lately.

Days 15, 16 and 17. Catching up, aiming to have 31 days done by month end.

Faces structure pic is practice for the super Halloween pic I'm planning for the weekend.

Days 18-20 - catching up. Torsos was pretty bad, but pleased with feet pics and gesture pics.

Is the October practice a separate challenge on it's own or is it tied in to Inktober or Kinktober ?(I'm terribly unaware of what is out there in the art world for the most part) To be honest a lot of this stuff looks great. You definitely got sketching and linework down. Very impressed with your foot studies, some very good volumetric insight there. I think the torso work is pretty decent as well in my opinion, seems perfectly sound to me. There's this drive for perfection that isn't necessary (though it affects all of us artists -it's like we're all living with this in-built constantly self-criticising mechanism, but I guess it keeps us grounded) these days, just have fun making art, give it all you got. That's my motto

Been a big fan of yours since your work on MTJ Publishing. I think I bought pretty much all of them. Loved all the sketches, extra notes, etc

Just wanted October to be productive. Trying hard to really level up this month. I've been over reliant on tracing, and I want it to be an occasional tool, rather than a crutch.
