Very interesting position. It makes the ticklee quite helpless and unable to defend herself. I like it.

Incidentally, I find the ticklee's name to be an intriguing coincidence. You see, a shoot I did last year included a model who chose to call herself "Scarlett" for the video. I haven't released that series yet, but I should do so within a month or two. It isn't exactly a very common name, so I'm a bit surprised and amused to see another tickling model called Scarlett, especially so close to the release of my own "Scarlett" video. To think I thought it was an original name, heheh!

I actually have another model named Scarlette (with an "e" at the end). Like you, I have lots of signed models. I currently have 97. So it's sometimes an issue when I get new models to try and not have the same modeling name.

I don't know how you handle it, but I insist that all of my models NOT use their real name so that they can maintain some level of privacy and ID security.

To be honest, I let my models use their real name if they want to (first name only). A fake name can help with privacy a bit, but the way I see it, if someone who knows a model personally manages to find her clips online and recognizes her (highly unlikely), a fake name might not make that much of a difference.

Still, I do prefer when the models use stage names, and I always suggest it. Even though I usually ask they they pick credible names, they tend to be more original than average, which is neat.

One problem is that some are totally incapable of remembering to use them during an actual shoot, which is annoying. Actually, that's the main reason why I tolerate real names. Not that the models feel the need to constantly address each other by name, but it does happen, and not all get it right. Sometimes I end up with both the real names and fake names being used during the same shoot. I try my best to edit out the real names, although sometimes I realize that the dialogue is so incomprehensible that people might not even notice that a name was said. Hell, even I can't always understand what they're saying. Still, when they do use their real names by accident, I ask them if it's a problem.

While I'm not really into nudity in tickling videos, I must admit that she looks very pretty and that I would love to work with a model like her.

You know, maybe I could spell my model's name "Scarlet" instead of "Scarlett". It would be a little more distinct from yours. Then again, "Scarlett" is the spelling she was already using as a photography model, so I don't know if she'd mind the change.

Yeah, I used to have that name switching problem on camera until I started using only stage names with them on and off camera.

I've had several models get into arguments with family or boy friends who find their tickle videos online. A few models have had boyfriends break up with them over it, a few family interventions have been held and recently a model's fiance broke up with her because another producer used her real name in a very risque and suggestive video clip. One model (long time ago - who had shot with me using her real name) called me in a panic because she was interviewing for a federal job and was afraid of having her video clip show up in the background search. Another one called me after joining the US Army because she was entering training for military intelligence and couldn't risk her name being online with fetish videos.

Probably my favorite 'model/fake name' story is one model who was confronted by her husband several times about her tickle videos and flattly denied that was her. She told him "that's not even my name" everytime he'd find a new clip. Poor guy.

One aspect of this that's kind of funny for me is when models call me on my cell phone, they only call me James or James Darke. James Darke is a character from one of my sci-fi screen plays. My parents have never met 'that guy'.

I do the same. Once stage names are chosen, we use them exclusively, even when not shooting, to get used to them. But some model still get confused. I guess getting the hell tickled out of you can make you forget that you're not supposed to call your friends by their real names.

Wow. I'm surprised. I'm not aware that any of my models has had any problems with family or boyfriends, let alone broken up with anyone. At least I never got any feedback about it. I don't understand why it happens to you several times.

Jeez, you really have some extreme cases. When I find out that a model is in a field that involves some level of authority or contact with the public (like a med student or a teacher), I have a serious conversation with her. I do my best to make absolutely sure she's ok with it. But I actually kind of try to discourage her to do a shoot, as I want to avoid problems in the future. Of course, just because a model isn't in a delicate situation at the moment of the shoot doesn't mean she won't be sometime in the future (like enrolling in the Army, for instance).

Yeah, poor guy. I have to say that it's rather lame of the model. As if it's not possible to use a fake name in a video. Besides, if she thought there was even a small chance of her appearing in a video would cause trouble, why did she do it?

I don't understand how people can actually find clips of people they know. I mean, what kind of web searches are they doing? A tickling video store isn't something you usually find by accident, let alone the specific one in which your girlfriend appears. You also have to check out the page(s) on which she appears, and actually notice in the sometimes small pictures that she looks familiar. I can't imagine it happens through pure coincidence. They must have some kind of idea of what they're looking for, some hints that the girl posed for fetish videos.

While I personally have a hard time believing that the name makes much of a difference, maybe I should insist that all future model pick stage names, as an additional security measure. It often makes for more interesting and distinctive names anyway.

One factor that helps a little bit in my case is that, unlike many producers, my videos don't involve any nudity. Sure, they're still fetish videos, and that can be enough for someone to mind having a girlfriend/wife/family member appear in them. But if someone is only offended by the nudity thing, then my videos aren't a problem. At least people can't say that they saw them naked online.

My parents are totally aware of what I do. And while they don't quite understand it, they support me. I mean, we don't discuss the details of the models or of the shoots, but we do sometimes talk about the financial and technical aspects. Hell, when my parents saw the work I put into researching the whole thing, they offered to loan me money to get started. Oddly enough, while reasonably open-minded, my parents don't strike me as especially kinky or even likely to be interested in crazy/unusual stuff. And yet they still don't have much of a problem with my project. I'm lucky that way, I guess.
