Would anyone happen to have the lyrics to "Child of Distinction" by Low Pressure?

I tried the four lyrics databases that usually work for me, but I couldn't find it. Sorry. By the way, what is "ska"?

Thank you Drew. I scoured the net for over an hour trying to find it. No luck.

From wikipedia: Ska (pron. IPA: [skæː]) is a music genre that originated in Jamaica in the late 1950s and was a precursor to rocksteady and reggae.[1]

I have the song on cd but there is a fast part in the middle that I just can't make out.

To add to that definition, the defining element of modern ska is a double beat. One beat is kept by the drums. The other is traditionally kept by the lead guitar or keyboards. In place of the lead guitar, most ska bands use a horn section (saxophone, trumpet and/or trombone).

Modern ska bands of note include The Planet Smashers, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Reel Big Fish, Mustard Plug and The Specials.

you know, it may be a long shot but when i have a music question i email my fave local radio station. they are usually helpful. like i said it's a long shot but may be worth a try.

When I need to find lyrics online (which is very often in my line of work), it works best if I know some of the lyric. Especially if you know words that are more unusual or even a short phrase which you can put in "quotes". Of course, that only works if you are certain you are getting the words you already know right... and that's assuming whomever has posted the lyric themselves has it right (I've found some really wrong lyrics out there!).

But most likely, if you can't find the lyric anywhere online, then it means that the internet is waiting for *you* to be the one to provide it to the world! 🙂
