With the most boring weekend I had ever (see other post in general forum) and looking for things to make the time go quicker I was thinking what my team would be out of any current players and there is no cap nothing serious just fun.

Mine is -

QB - Quincy Carter (got a soft spot for him + he was never given a real chance)
HB - Ronnie Brown
FB - Mack Strong
WR - Randy Moss
WR - Chris Chambers
TE - Antonio Gates
OT - Chris Samuels
OT - Walter Jones
OG - Steve Hutchinson
OG - Kendall Simmons
C - LeCharles Bentley

DE - Dwight Freeney
DE - Derrick Burgess
DT - John Henderson
DT - Tommie Harris
OLB - LaVar Arrington
OLB - Joey Porter
MLB - Ray Lewis
CB - Charles Woodson
CB - Dunta Robinson (every big play was the opposite side to him)
S - Sean Taylor (Raiders pasted on him and I dont know why)
S - Adrian Wilson

Carter had one full season at QB what happenes?? They go to the playoffs and lost against the Panthers (they end up going to the Superbowl and nearly pulling it off) also that season he threw for 3302 yards that fifth amongst Cowboys QB but they never had any good ones have they??

Oh I heard of Brady, he was the one that got smacked my boy C Wood and when he got up saying he was passing the ball, the only thing he was passing was his teeth through the face mask.

Seymour and Brady ah your a pat fan now I got less respect for you now then I had before. Burgess was the NFL sack leader, Seymour wasnt and for Brady I dont like a pocket passer I like one that can run and pass.

Peyton "PUSSY" Manning.....
How many SUPERBOWLS has he won? Oh let me count 0, like Carter, McNabb. Vick, Collins....Brady 3 SUPERBOWL RINGS....Manning may have stats, but all Tom Brady does is win superbowls.....
As for Woodson, the Raiders had a ten point lead in the 4th quarter, and couldn't hold it in a blizzard, and you're telling me it came down to the officials call? They had third and one, and fourth and one and couldn't get a friggin yard......Please just deal with it....
 
Manning has won zero SuperBowls, but he doesnt suck. he is THE best QB in the NFL right now. Brady is good, no doubt, but i would go with Manning everytime. stats do not lie.

Brady had an opportunity to "carry" the Patriots this year, but he couldnt get to the SuperBowl could he? Brady benefited from teammates that knew how to win. granted, Brady just wins, but he cant without a solid defense and good coaching. Manning has an amazing offense, but the defense still needs to grow and Dungy needs to get better. put Manning in New England and he has a bunch of rings too.

since you decided to ridicule my QB, where is your list for a fantasy team?

WR- Chad Johnson (I want a three WR set, no, Johnson if I need a full back)

C- Kevin Mawai (not sure how to spell his last name)

hmm, not bad. it looks very similar to mine though.

i have to go with Manning. again, you stick Manning in New England he WINS the SuperBowl. you stick Brady in Indy and you will have a good team, but would he win the big one?
 
Manning....

Can't play in the big game....Period...When they needed Brady in all three Superbowls to make plays, he did...Two Superbowls MVP AWARDS...need I say more?
 
it's not Manning's fault that the defense stunk for years. when the Pats beat Indy in the playoffs, they did so by keeping Manning off the field. they ran Corey Dillon to death, chewing up clock. Indy's defense is a lot better so Manning should play in the SuperBowl soon.

i'm taking nothing away from Brady. he is a fine QB, but he is a beneficiary of a good system. again, you put Manning in New England and you would be singing Manning's praises.
