It turned out that I went deeper into this than I started out intending to, so to just cut right to the chase, if you're interested here is a very good video that explains how ChatGPT works -



Just to set the stage, although I'm sure virtually everyone has heard of ChatGPT by now, it's a new "Artificial Intelligence" tool that came out at the beginning of the year, and it's the most rapidly adapted app in the history of computer tech.

I adopted her almost exactly two years ago and she was EXTREMELY traumatized from whatever had happened to her. She would flinch if I reached towards her, and run away if I moved towards her.

Over the years she's relaxed a tiny amount, but still almost never lets me touch her or approach her if she's not on the bed where she feels safe.

After two years of letting her have the space she needs, I had literally given up on her ever getting truly close to me the way Blossom ...

Yesterday I tried to find evidence of the MUD my roommate and I ran out of our apartment in the 90s and I struck out, but today I was still curious and thought of some ways to refine the search.

So far I've found these room descriptions from an area called "The Street of the Gods" named after, I think, moderators of the particular game its from. It's not from my game directly, but Garion was me and Soapbox was my roommate Jamie -

I wrote about my history somewhat in my Staff Profile (link in my signature) so some of this will be covering that same ground. But to my incredible surprise, that profile was written as a history of the TMF a decade ago. Ten years ago, we had enough history that I thought it was worth a retrospective. That is, to me at least, shocking.

And now, about ten years later , the same notion seems to have come over me - to revisit the past and try to articulate some of what it was like. ...

When I'm watching a tickling clip, there's one thing that always bugs me, and it's surprisingly common - it's when the ler starts competing with the lee for volume and the attention of the camera.

- The lee starts laughing, so the ler starts raising their voice over the lee.

- Then the lee eventually starts yelling and screaming, so the ler starts screaming too, yelling over the volume of someone who is already yelling.
