The initial conversations in the second draft are filling in a bit more detail on the main character's life than in the first draft, where I mostly skipped over them to get to the tickling. Particularly, establishing her job, and working in a reference to tickling (she is a reporter, so not too hard- just make it relevant to an article she wrote earlier, which her roommate is praising).
