Recent EntriesChangesChanges changes changes...........The kid is growing too fast. Last weekend I took her to the most dreaded place I know, the large Shopping Mall Dress Boutique. Frightening place to be sure. But it was worth every frightening moment from busting past the pink haze of the entrance to her being agonizingly slow at finding "just the right one" to the home stretch where I attempt to stand straight and fight off the faint when the total was rung up. My mind was frantically screaming to my inner self Six Years and other stuff.......Hello everyone!! It has been a while since I wandered around the forums and nice to see it is still here. So, what to write???......I've been smoke free going on six years now. Don't miss them, don't want them. Had some basel cell skin cancer sliced off my mug (nice 4 inch scar from eye to jaw) and am still working with the caustic cream to melt it off my arm. Sunscreen, Kids. Use the sunscreen!!! Oh and there was the sinus surgery that dug out a tumor, benign. That's a wonderful word "benign". Clean For Two Years

Two years ago today I was on the floor with my lungs feeling like they were on fire. That was my last cigarette. I still remember the feeling to ensure it was my last. Preventative Medicine?

Part of the requirements of my job is that I carry a Commercial Drivers License to legally operate various large equipment. To keep the licence I am required to have a physical every two years and submit it to the BMV to keep on record. My last Physical was just before last Thanksgiving. This is where the bullshit began. A Funny Thing Happened On My Way To Retirement...

A few of you know where I work and what I do there. One important duty I have is to see that my buncha square miles of country roads are clean and safe for the driving publc which also includes a lot of hours behind the wheel blindly pushing snow and hoping I don't leave the road and cause me and others a bunch of damage. But I already told about this in my blog last year. Today's blog is not about me persay, but about the guy I work for. |
