Yesterday I tried to find evidence of the MUD my roommate and I ran out of our apartment in the 90s and I struck out, but today I was still curious and thought of some ways to refine the search.
So far I've found these room descriptions from an area called "The Street of the Gods" named after, I think, moderators of the particular game its from. It's not from my game directly, but Garion was me and Soapbox was my roommate Jamie -

I wrote about my history somewhat in my Staff Profile (link in my signature) so some of this will be covering that same ground. But to my incredible surprise, that profile was written as a history of the TMF a decade ago. Ten years ago, we had enough history that I thought it was worth a retrospective. That is, to me at least, shocking.
And now, about ten years later , the same notion seems to have come over me - to revisit the past and try to articulate some of what it was like.

When I'm watching a tickling clip, there's one thing that always bugs me, and it's surprisingly common - it's when the ler starts competing with the lee for volume and the attention of the camera.

- Then the lee eventually starts yelling and screaming, so the ler starts screaming too, yelling over the volume of someone who is already yelling.
I just find it so obnoxious:

About 40 years ago, an actor named Darin DePaul played D&D with a bunch of other actors who were in a play with him, including a particular woman we'll call Susan. Darin played a gnome named Sprigg who was the only survivor of their adventure because he ran and hid. When the fight turned against them, he felt like what his character would do is run for his life rather than fight to the death.
Darin and Susan fell completely out of touch after the play ended.

I've never told this story before because I didn't want to poke a bear. But now the bear is dead, so I might as well tell it -
About ten years ago, my doorbell rang and it was a legal operative of some kind with some documents for me. I opened them and was notified that I was being sued for five million dollars, by David D'amato (AKA Terri Tickle) who was infamous in the tickling community for having blackmailed and slandered and outed dozens of male college kids who he had paid
