Lines of motion are a good general rule. Things which are more straightened tend to look faster while things that are curved or bent look like they're changing direction and are, therefore, slower. For tickling's sake, awkward positions which are hard to hold look like the subject is moving...

I've found it easiest to use the elliptical, add the tail with shift+lasso, paint-bucket it black, Select>modify>contract about 6 pixels, and fill white. You get a one-piece bubble in its own layer which is perfectly sharp and takes all of 20 seconds to make. It looks like this...

Supposedly there is a tickling scene in episode 27 of Kaiketsu Zorori. I have no idea what the nature of it is but i figure someone around here could root out the series without much problem.

I've heard there's a scene from a short-lived Alf cartoon series, but I've never seen it. I think the episode was called "salad wars" and the scenario was something like the Ewoks scene. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
