Nah, they've matured quite a bit. Take a look at Angels and Airwaves and +44. Niether of those bands include toilet humour. As for the 'four chord songs', I recall only 2 or three of those from Blink's last album, the 2003 self-titled. And I don't recall anything funny on that album. Amazing...
