Short answer: Yes. Some people I know get turned on by taking something they would otherwise say no to and I could quite see that myself. To do this ethically requires proper consent.

For me it connects to more general S/M / loss of control play.

Thanks for lots of interesting replies. Thank you all for views into your worlds. It looks so far like some folks with autism, Asperger's and similar are ticklish and some aren't as much and there isn't clear connection.

I understand people with autism, Asperger's Syndrome etc. can be "touch defensive" and find firm rather than light touch more comforting. Light touch is said to be highly unpleasant. Does this translate into ticklishness? Also, would someone who doesn't do empathy make a more or less cruel...

Curious that there isn't more out there. I've had a couple of trans play partners but only ticked one (who was great fun!)
