the point i am stating is that, when an understanding has been reached, it seems like a failure to forgive past wrongdoings by banning someone for old news. it seems like a lack of forgiveness.

The purpose of a ban is to stop hostile or harrassing behavior - oftentimes a warning suffices first, as no ops were present, no warning took place. to give a permanent ban for exchanging words that three people took offense to - is a penalty that simply doesn't fit the crime. what exactly...
