Okay, thanks for the tip I'll try that next. What I was doing was using speed attacks to always attack first but the worm kept trying to eat me all the time and I'd eventually get eaten before I do enough damage.

Does anyone happen to know why I keep getting type null errors whenever I battle the tiger boss? It seems to only happen randomly in this fight. Mostly after I bring her down to half. What's weird is I beat her once, and the game crashed and now everytime I fight her I keep getting those errors...
