Another thought to consider. We have a lot more threads than more other boards. All our posts are distributed many, many ways. In stories alone, there are about a dozen archives, each with multiple threads. Perhaps you're only reading the ones that interest you and think that's all there is...

Loved your post, but... I loved this post. And the cliches he cited have appeared in nearly every story on the subject I've ever read. Problem is, writing these things is hard for me. Just when I was working up the nerve to try to write in this forum, like I used to do in TickleTheater...

I agree wholeheartedly. I could have said the same thing. In fact, I did, and got shouted down for it. As a result, I don't spend a great deal of time here any more.
