I like and have used both. But personally prefer the cotton over the satin. The satin tends to slip and slide to much and doesn't stay on the mattress very well.. But then again if you can afford the best why not try both. Again, I personally love egyptian cotton,high thread count, sleep naked...

I don't know much about all of this. My tv's are older I guess. I don't have HDTV that I am aware of. Does this apply if you have direct tv as well?
