Yes ^_^ the Duomo was built on top of an old medieval church...which was built on top of an ancient Roman temple...so lot's of history and layers 🙂 I went into the crypt of the Duomo, you can see the remains of both, it's fascinating ^_^!

Renaissance architecture is the best 🙂 and a building that caught my attention is definitely the Duomo in Florence, I used to walk by that building everyday! It's gorgeous ^^ and I climbed the Duomo...one of the coolest experieinces of my life 🙂!
Lately I've been reading a lot of books on Renaissance architecture, especially in Italy (Rome, Venice, Florence, etc.) Anything on architecture I can get my hands on ^^ I've been reading!

Also, I mostly love to read historical books...like biographies and such, anything on ancient history through about the 18th century really interests me ^^ I am a history nerd!
