    Smokey smells are harder to get rid of than I thought. It's weird. The smoke came into the apartment from the basement, and since the basement stinks, it's traveling upward. It's not awful. I think since none of my things were damaged, I'll live!!!!! 😀 😀 😀

    Yeah. The closest gathering for me would be the Michigan one but even if I were financially able to go to that, I wouldn't be able to go because I'll be down in Ohio for my cousin's wedding. 😀

    Lol. I'm pretty sure I'll be reacting the same way. I'm sure I'll be scared out of my ever loving mind. Not only going to a gathering for the first time and meeting so many people whom I've only known through the forum, but also being out of my comfort zone. I mean, way, way, way out of my comfort zone by being in a whole other state. 😱

    😛 I know. I've heard many good things about NEST. I'm sure I would have a wonderful time if I were able to go, but until then I don't really know how I would be at NEST. 😀

    I don't know. I've always tended to be a wallflower at any kind of social gathering unless I'm with friends. Even then, I tend to be a people watcher. I have fun watching other people have fun. :shrug:

    Yeah I got a message from him saying they were hoping to swing through and I was shocked because I didn't think it would happen this year. 😀 If he can make it work, then it'll be so awesome! 😀

    Yeah. It's been a hot one past couple of days. The farmers need the heat for the crops but sucks like hell when you get in a car and feel like you're frying like bacon.

    Ooh ooh, I don't know if I should say anything but if things work out, Jim (pokey) and his wife might be swinging through Minnesota on their motorcycles. 😀 It's not a guarantee, but if he can make it work, I might get a chance to meet him. 😀
