Hah, well I mostly meant films, music, etc. I think McDonald's and the Coca Cola company are both going crazy, because we have our own little thing going here... lol.

Lots of stuff to read about WW2! 😀 I'm currently "specialized" at WW1 and WW2, but we'll see if that remains the case once I'm done with my education. As for football... the only sport that's cool to watch is hockey! 😛

Hah, well Swedish is a Germanic language, just as English is! 🙂 They were all the same language in the past, so that's why so many words are similar even to this day. I could rant to you about that since I'm a history-geek, but I doubt it'd interest you. XD

And yes, Swedish is also a bit influenced from German in particular. We "borrowed" a lot of German words in the past. Germany used to be just as big a cultural influence on Sweden as the US and UK are today. 🙂

Several actually. Our colonial period and the exploration and settlement of the American West among them. Russian history has always fascinated me. I'm a big military history buff. You name it,i'm probably intrested in it. 🙂
