I would not be very shocked. I have seen some things here that terrify me, and this is just one more.

It's almost as if men, who have typically exceeded the number of women globally, have more often enjoyed positions of security, power, and confidence while being socialized to be sexually aggressive and historically viewing women as inferior or even as possessions.

If someone makes content like that, they should be aware of the potential fallback: people not buying their work. Did anyone here say she was a bad person besides you?

This is the best reply. when people go through something scary, they want to know feelings are valid and that it will be ok, not criticize or corrected. When something like this happens, even thou the person is a victim, they can feel a lot of shame about the ordeal too.
