Change a Word
This is the "change a word" thread. Each post much change the word which appeared in the previous post, creating a new word, in one of three ways:
1. remove one letter
2. add one letter
3. change one letter
If the word in the last post was "sale", then here are some examples of legal words for next post:
Via rule 1., you could create "ale"
Via rule 2., you could create "stale" or "sales"
Via rule 3., you could create "tale" or "male" or "pale" or "sole" or "same" or "sane" or "salt"
I'll start things off with the first word: sole
