GRRR! If anyone remembers the post I made a few months back about "Rush Rush" being stuck in my head, playing over and over, after I heard it in the market. Tonight, the same thing happened again.

Actually, I heard the song currently stuck in my head earlier today. I don't remember if it was in the market, or just while I was driving along,, and if it was playing on the radio. The song is "Good Morning Starshine". All night long, as I'm online, I keep hearing "Good Morning Starshine, The Earth Says Hello, You Twinkle Above Us, We Twinkle Below". I dont personally hate this song as much as I do "Rush, Rush". In fact, it wasn't bad, until today, when I now can't get the damn thing out of my head!

I guess I'll be hearing this for God knows how long now, like I did with Rush, Rush!

It's always worse when you only know some of the lyrics from the song. Then your mind just loops over it like a broken record-player.
 
I agree, CrazyLikeA Fox. I can't claim to know all thw words to "Good Morning Starshine", because, while I'm sure I've heard the whole song at some point, it didn't stick with me.

Oh, and yes, the stupid F'ing song is STILL stuck in my head, almost 24 hrs later. This is unreal!

GRRRR! Bug! Thanks a lot, my friend. The friggin thing is STILL stuck in my head! I went to see Valentine's Day with my friend today, and I'm just lucky I was able to get through the movie, and hear the dialouge, without hearing "Good Morning Starshine, The Earth Says Hello, You Twinkle Above Us, We Twinkle Below".

BTW on a different subject, Valentine's Day was a decent movie, but it was a foot lovers dream! Barefoot shots of Anne Hathaway, and Jessica Alba. I love when movies have a lot of female bare foot shots.

Sorry if that's a bit off the subject. Maybe it will help get Good Morning Starshine out of my damn head, lol.

This has happened to me, too-way too many times.

Much of the time, it happens because the song got cut off, and your brain tries to finish it, and it won't stop.
 
Knox, I don't even remember where it was that I heard the song the last time I did, and whether it was in the car, or the market, or what, and whether it got cut off or not. All I know is that it was stuck in my head. Today it seems to be better, as I'm not hearing the damn thing every couple of minutes in my head! Maybe that's a sign that it's finally leaving me!

If it makes you feel any better, that song was roaming around in my head all day. And there is a lot of room to roam there. ;)
 
Okay, thanks, pal, and it actually does make me feel better, lol. Thankfully, though, for myself, the song is out of my head.

It's a shame the process of doing so isn't more like a coolant flush. Much more efficient.
