I think if you have a LOT of patience, you can help her. But it will take time and effort from both of you. PM me if you want to try. (This won't work for everyone, but it's worth a try. And remember, it won't make her not ticklish. Just help her tolerate it.)
 
I've heard about it several times. A lot about tickling has to do with psychology, and self-control will take away quite a bit of the sensation.
 
Yes, I knew a young woman in high school who trained herself not to react much to being tickled.
It didn't make her less ticklish, but it made her less of a target.
 
I have known more than one female who said they were able to train themselves to not be ticklish after being very ticklish in previous years. It seemed to be the mind over matter thing along with the fact they were tickled alot by family or husbands and it wound up being sort of a method of survival.
 
I knew a girl who could do this she was ticklish as a kid but could turn it off like a light but she said that she likes the way it felt on her feet either that or she never really liked me and hoped I would give up
 
It kind of brings up the age old question is ticklishness physical or physiological.
I believe it's both.
 
I've done this very thing, wasn't ticklish for years, or at least I was able to turn it off mentally. I found that I can bring it back by surrendering to the sensation, rather then blocking it out. I still have control over it, and I can't always make myself ticklish, but it's better then it used to be.
 
My girlfriend claimed to have "detickling" sessions during her week before she'd see me on the weekends (some months ago now), but I have a feeling she was just mocking me since she knew I loved to tickle her.
