What ruins a video clip for you ?

Fat fucking Male ticklers who shoehorn foot worship into every possible clip they do. It's annoying af.

You don't have to spend a fortune on camera, but I have seen, and bought a couple clips where its obvious they are using their crappy phone or outdated camera. Look on youtube for reviews, or go to the electronic store and test out a camera..

I think it's oftentimes less the camera and more the lighting. I have a low-end Sony Handicam that cost me like $500 new and by now it's eight years old. I probably couldn't give it away. It still does pretty good HD footage, though. Phone cameras have been pretty good for a long time. I still think we're a long way from 4K being the norm; a lot of people still watch porn on their phones or tablets, and most of those aren't 4K yet. I'd wager you couldn't tell the diffrence on one if you could.

However it's still possible for me to get shitty footage that looks like it was shot on a potato if I don't properly light the scene. The darker it is, the grainier and worse the footage looks. If you can't adjust the ISO, shutter, or any of that stuff then unless you have an external light source you're SOL.

I'd say the best investment any producer can make in this regard is a ring light. I got one for $100 off of Amazon and it's been a godsend; they're adjustable, cast almost zero shadows, and make your footage look great. You can also get what's called a "home streamer kit" that's a clamp attached to a pair of bendy adjustable arms; one is a spring-loaded grip for your phone and the other is a mini ring light. They're meant for vloggers and makeup tutorials and such but I've gotten a lot of mileage out of mine as a second camera in a two-cam setup or just for the extra lighting.

Audio is tricky, though; camera mics aren't bad but unless you're like the top producer in the industry I really can't recommend dropping a lot of money on an external mic. Shotgun mics run about $500 and if you were making enough off of your clips that you could afford that I'd argue that your customers were already perfectly happy with the sound quality and you'd be wasting your money.

Likely how others here have mentioned
-Tickler talking or laughing (ugh) over the ticklee, so annoying like I know their having fun but we really like to hear the actual lee being tickled laughing
-Noises like fan in the background that gets in the way of the video
-Shaky camera

You're on the money with lighting. I've actually cautioned people asking for advice with clips not to go hard on a "good camera" at first, but to invest in decent lights and work with whatever camera they have; even phones now are significantly better than they were years ago. Properly light a scene and that phone is probably giving a mid-range DSLR a run for it's money.

I will say shotgun mics are probably a decent investment. Lower end Rode mics are around the $150-200 range, and while that sounds like a lot for something presumably most people won't notice, it'll make a dramatic improvement.

Lights should always be #1, though.

When ANYONE looks at the camera!

This is supposed to be a tickle video and enthrall my fetish ....
I want to believe they're just there for that purpose and that there's no camera guys or anyone lese there.

Also don't like the director or some other worker
walking into it and I HATE when they interview them before or after.

1. Male ticklers
2. Bikinis instead of underwear
3. Tickling for 15s then stopping over and over and over. I need like 30-45s of straight tickling.
4. Any tools except feathers (HATE hair brushes, toothbrushes, any of those vibrator dealies, etc)

I've only ever seen this in videos from TheTickleRoom. Sometimes, he'll be tickling with some other chick and then stop the video to instruct the chick how to tickle (very poorly all be it). It's a huge turn off. I don't really like clips from TheTickleRoom. If there was a "What Ruins A Clip For You?" Bingo, that guy would win everytime, I guarentee it.

For me it's...

- If it's a male tickling a female, him staring into the camera. Super annoying.

- Acting of any kind / inauthenticity.

- If it's a male tickling a female, him talking too much or too much taunting.

I can understand why people don't like stories, but acting doesn't mean that the tickling part of the clip is fake

Bad lighting, cheesy plots, fake laughter, excessive use of the hairbrush, no build-up, not leaving in shoe and/or sock removal, lack of variety in technique; just to name a bunch. Subpar video quality is something else that can ruin a clip, especially since we live in an age where phones can shoot up to 4k.

Agreed, but I can understand how a bad/story plot could ruin the actual tickling; even if the tickling reaction is real.

Nylons. Not a fan.

Tickler looking towards the camera for instructions. Honestly this should have been rehearsed or discussed prior.

Brushes. I've never been tickled with one but it seems to me that fingers are the best options.

Faking it. I know we live in a world where movies entertain us and a lot of the people who are doing this aren't necessarily Ticklish and in it for the money, but have some sort of believability in the performance.

When it's f/m and there's no d*ck play. If you're gonna do it then do it. I'm not into m/m for that reason. You have a female, she should at least tease him there or his balls.

Speaking of f/m, if you're going to do the hand job and tickle the victim afterwards, make sure to hit his feet again. I've been tickled on my feet after an orgasm and it's the most torturous spot there is imo. Maybe it's just me, but I hate when they make the guy cum and then just tickles his stomach and sides. Make him suffer girl lol

Loose restraints. I get that may be a safety thing but it does suck as a viewer. I've always thought about setting something like that up but don't trust people to do it :-(

This one is specific but those fake wrestling tickle fights. I like the concept, but the acting in those are normally atrocious.

Keeping the same angle. I know I'm in the minority there but I'm a foot person so keeping a full body view really sucks to me. I want that angle to see the soles and the reaction from there. When you just get the full angle the entire video you miss too much.

Sloppy tickler. People who have absolutely no idea what they are doing. There's a whole lot of content on the internet where they can see how to tickle someone. Just going ever which way with it sucks.

Those videos with the fake punch to knock their victim out lol. Just start the video with the victim locked up if the punch is going to be that fake.

Socks. Hate them. I don't mind the pull off sock technique but when you tickle someone with socks, it's wasted time imo.

Gags. I don't think an entire video show have a gagged Lee. They can torture them for a while and then take the gag off and continue tickling, but for the whole video, no.

Too much dialog. Again, these aren't Oscar winning performances we're dealing with. Get enough dialog to give us what the story is about and then hop to it. Interrogation tickling videos are notorious for this. Tickle for about fifteen seconds and then "do you wanna talk now?"

I guess those are most of mine. I'm sure there are a lot more but those are my biggest pet peeves.

I just got burned by this yesterday - Producer describes the clip as containing tickling of every part of the body, but in reality it's 99% feet, 1% perfunctory tickling of the rest of the body so upper body fans can be tricked into buying it.

It's not nice to screw with the founder of the TMF!!! :sowrong:

I'd be shocked if the clip wasn't from frenchtickling

Oh if I had a nickel..

Here's what ruins a clip for me:

1) a 'template' for tickling eg "okay 5 minutes upperbody, 5 minutes feet" and then they do it for every video. - TickleCentral and Frenchtickling are so annoying in this way.

2) Ripping nylons. Maybe it's just me but that actually looks gross

3) Fake laughing/non ticklishness - just hire actual ticklish women wtf. What are you actually gaining by using non-ticklish women?

4) Male lers because they're pretty much all just trying to get themselves off (So pretty much all of them)

5) David Mack. Possibly the worst tickling content ever. For someone who has a store called "the tickle channel" it's literally him just rubbing models' nipples and 'teasing' them while he tries to get his little dick hard. My condolences to the women who've been forced to fuck him in the name of 'creating content'.

6) 2 lers focusing on the same spot. There are two of you, why are you both tickling her feet instead of one doing UB and the other doing feet?

7) Foot worship during a tickling video

8) Finding her most ticklish spot then ignoring the rest of the video

9) Shitty bondage

10) Obvious overacting especially on the ler's part

11) Storylines of any kind

12) Tickling the lee with a vibrator (wtf) or really any reliance on tools

13) Nudity - you're doing a tickling video. A tank top and short shorts are just fine. Stop getting greedy with models you perverts.

14) Professional models who have been in scores of videos and are notorious for overacting and overall ruining most videos they're in (Jade Indica [god damn that pornstar voice she puts on is so bad], Bella Ink, etc).

15) Way too much emphasis on feet - you foot perverts have ruined tickling content for the rest of us by creating a stupidly lopsided demand. I understand there's a lot of overlap between tickling and feet but it's gotten ridiculous.

When they get to. Spot that drives the lee crazy and the laughter is intense but then immediately move to another spot.
That Laugher

There's probably a bunch more but mainly

1. As many have mentioned: No verbal interplay between the playmates (as in teasing, discussion, fight, whatever). It feels so artificial then.
2. When the clip becomes sexual: Maybe that's just becomes I am asexual and engaging sexually while tickling is turn off for me.
3. Overleriance on one tool: I'm not a big fan of watching someone being tickled by an electric toothbrush or a hairbrush. It's disappointing to me when clips rely on one tool for 50+% of the duraton which I feel happens a lot with these.

This primarily concerns foot fetish videos..

When they block out audio under the excuse of " Well, we talked about personal stuff" or something along those lines..
