What happened to Renee?

Now, i know some of you guys don't like her because she's "not very sexy" or became overused. But from me, I don't have a problem with her. Renee is a beautiful woman from tickling paradise and always be enjoyable to watch her get tickled. But as tickling paradise either stopped doing videos or something. What I would like to know is, what happened to Renee? Its been like what, years since her last video she was in. And yeah I am a tickling paradise fan and I always liked Renee

She retired. Most move on after a few years.

Myriads

I always thought Renee was sexy. It’s probably been close to 20 years since Tickling Paradise first came on the scene and Renee was in her 50s then, so now she is almost assuredly past 70. Those marathon tickling sessions she endured back in the day were hard enough on a 50-something, now imagine a 70-something taking them. She has earned her retirement and has left a legacy of good to great tickling videos behind.

I mean, she was pretty old(and pretty old looking) even back in the 00s so I'm guessing she's retired. There's MILF's and then there's just the elderly and I don't think there's an abduance of people who want to see senior citizens in tickling videos or porn period. Besides, she's done so many tickling videos what more could she possibly do? That's how I feel about a lot of tickle models, you've seen them tickled in enough scenerios there's really no need for them to keep on making videos.

She was insanely sexy as both a ‘lee and a ‘ler. Definitely my favourite girl from Tickling Paradise! And tk86 is spot on, she’s left a brilliant canon of tickling videos behind! :)

I was almost tempted to call the number listed at the end of their videos just to see if Renee would answer.

It's easy to take for granted now, but at the time, Renee and Tickling Paradise were massively important. The only tickling company at the time that put real effort into their videos. I'm just disappointed we never got to see Gabrielle's laughing face in any of the clips.

Are you sure? I thought there were some.

If I remember right, she said at the time she was a working actress, so she did "feet only" clips. Although, I also vaguely remember some chaos within the company towards the end where she left altogether and Renee and Gia completely took over, so who knows how much of that was true.

Gabrielle never showed her face. It was Gabrielle's company first, i once had an epic three hour phone conversation with her, she definitely seemed to me as someone who had the "kink", at least understood it very well. I was blown away, I don't even think the TMF had started yet, and I had never spoken to a woman about the kink, other than a few vanilla girlfriends. I definitely had never spoken with someone who understood it, who finished my sentences.....she spoke about the embarrassment of the word itself, something many of us relate to, and how she got over it. In an alternate universe, I'm still on the phone with Gabrielle, that's how long we talked. And as I remember it, she kept me on the phone! She was in the mood to gab, Gabrielle was! Looking back, I wish I took notes or something. i didn't quite appreciate the glimpse-behind-the-curtain I was being treated to.

As she told it:Renee was her mom, and Gia was her sister (you can definitely hear the similarities in their voices and speech patterns...and their laugh, they shared the same exact shriek....). Gia was the first to stop, she worked as a makeup artist, she had already stopped appearing in videos when this conversation happened. Renee later took over the company. Gabrielle, who was still very much in her flaming youth, was a colorful character, and had a ruthless streak when it came to competition. Remember, this was when there were only a few companies on the scene, all emerging at once, mainly Magic Touch, Paradise Vision, and Real Tickling. Tickle Central a little later. The TMF hadn't even started yet, and when it did........well, all I know is that Gabrielle became persona non grata here on the TMF! I don't remember any threads or specific gossipy details, but let's put it this way: she was very proud of the quality of her videos (rightfully) and disparaging about everyone else's (not rightfully! I laughed and stuck up for the other companies when she would go down that route in our conversation; it was pretty funny and almost endearing, in a way. I thought the quality of (most of her) videos spoke for themselves, and it made her seem loopy to be going off on, say, the tickling technique of one producer, or doing a gross mockery impersonation of a popular tickle model's laugh!).

She was adamant that Kamiano was not her boyfriend, laughing while she said "Everybody thinks that! I don't know why!". He was a guy whose tickling drawings she had seen, and they had begun a friendship over the kink. She said "The Machine" (the other young guy that did alot of the tickling in the early videos, he was the MC in "The Contest", etc) was an old boyfriend of hers that didn't have the kink, but had fun making the videos. She told me he was in love with Starr, lol! Another funny note. i remarked about the music. You know how there would be little music in the beginning of the videos? She laughed and said that Renee did all the music for the videos. Lol! I mean, I didn't know what to believe. She told me some of the models were just friends, that didn't even get paid! Lily or Starr was allegedly one of those models. She told me some of the scenarios were 100% real, not sure if it was Nonconsensual 1 or The Millionaire or The Contest, but something obviously staged.....so I don't know how much she told me was fact or fantasy, but she certainly had all the biographical details at her tongue-tip.

Renee taking over the company seemed like a stabilizing force and rehabilitated the company's "image", at least on the TMF where I think they weren't even allowed to advertise. I had had a problem with a video right before the switch, and Renee was very helpful and professional in righting the wrong. Like all companies, they had their ups and downs, their duds and their fakes but they sure hit many home runs. There have been many great companies, and videos, before and after this early era.....but I don't think I ever had as much fascination with , or looked forward with as much anticipation, as those early Paradise Vision video tapes. There was just an extra buzz about them. The scenarios were often crazy (and even now, still on the cutting edge of controversy and outrageousness), the models were gorgeous, and captured footage of some tickle princesses that still give guys the shivers: Viviana and Lily being two of the most obvious, but most definitely not the only. They had a great sense of humor in their clips, and production values. There was a mystique to Paradise Vision, as if it was the Playboy Mansion of the tickle industry! The "Boogie Nights" of tickle porn! (I suppose FM Concepts had that vibe before Paradise Vision, to be fair).

One last cute thing, from that phone call I had with Gabrielle: Early in our conversation, she asked me which videos I had. I told her I had all of them, except one. She asked the title and I told her....it was one that starred her. She gasped! She was hurt to the heart! I stammered it was nothing personal, and her laugh was gorgeous, it was just that I preferred to see the face, and though I understood why she didn't want to put her face on camera, that's why I hadn't bought the video. She totally understood, and the conversation moved on and we talked for hours, never broaching the subject again.

About a week after I hung up the phone with her, the video came in the mail, free of charge. :) Thanks, Gabrielle. ;)

Maybe we should vote on what folks think is the best clips she ever did!

Renee as a 'lee, "Super Bowl". The scenario itself is irresistible and I'm surprised more producers haven't done their own versions of it. Super hot tickle attack by gang of guys punishing her for turning off the super bowl. You can remake that scene ten thousand times, it'll never get old.

Renee as a 'ler, I like it when she plays the college professor and tickles Bobbi for not paying attention in her class.

Wow, thanks! That was a very good story :goodjob:

Agreed! Thanks for all the extra info, The Internet! I'm strangely curious about where the bunch of them ended up and what they're doing now. Kind of like a rock band that I grew up with and haven't heard from in over a decade:)

It's always fun to go back and watch an old video and wonder what the girl or model in it is doing with her life these days.

What I would find interesting is after all of these years, what most of those girls think about this industry and the videos they made? I can only guess that most of them don't think about it at all.

For example ..I'm still a big fan of Candice from tickle central. I think she was in college when she made all of those videos. I have no idea what she ended up doing. But it's kind of funny to imagine this chick is in a meeting somewhere and she appeared in tickle porn years ago.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa....
I think Gabrielle and Gia were the same person, like Gia was just a nickname :idunno:

After all of these years, I thought the same thing. I'm not into watching older people get tickled, so Renee never did anything for me. But I do remember that she did respond to an email that I sent to her about a video that I liked.

Don't think they were the same person. I had "Stranded in the Desert" once upon a time (I had quite a few TP DVDs once upon a time) and there's a bit where Gia is sort of goofing around for the camera, talking to Gabrielle, who was behind the camera... But maybe I'm wrong. I REALLY liked Gia in that video, bouncing around and cackling. I would have liked to see more of her as a lee. Fuel for a lot of my amazonian fantasies.

Nice story, TheInternet. Thanks for telling it.

Yeah, I meant to say I thought. Learn something new every day :)

Yeah, one of the things I always found intriguing about the company was the idea that it was an all female, all family run operation. Two sisters and a mother, with Gabrielle being out front at the beginning. And a lot of their friends (like Kamiano and Viviana and some of Renee's older friends) repeatedly showing up in multiple videos along the way. We'll probably never know the truth, but I imagine the company's slow dissolving (affecting both business and family) would be a great story. The Internet made a "Boogie Nights" reference and that's the way it kind of plays in my head.

Renee as a 'ler, I like it when she plays the college professor and tickles Bobbi for not paying attention in her class.

Bobbi was one of my favorites. It's too bad that her debut was in the "Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire" video... Amber is a wonderful 'lee, but an AWFUL 'ler.

I’ve been told that decades ago Renee (and her family?) lived in Plano, TX, which would have been SO close to many who now enjoy the kink. By the time the company started they were all already out in CA. Apparently Renee also owned an erotic art gallery at one point & Gabrielle did voice-over work (she also had a sneeze fetish).

Not being pretentious here- I did Henry IV at a large theatre in Canada.

Shakespeare's dialogue: Two old men discuss women aging:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[Judge] Robert Shallow: ... And is Jane Nightwork alive?

Falstaff: She lives, Master Shallow.

Robert Shallow: She never could away with me. [Never could bang that one...]

Falstaff: Never, never; she would always say she could not, Master Shallow.

Robert Shallow: By the mass, I could anger her to th' heart. She was a bona-roba. [a real babe] Doth she hold her own well? [Still looking good?]

Falstaff: Old, old, Master Shallow.

Robert Shallow: Nay, she must be old; she cannot choose but be old; certain she's old; ...before I came to Clement's Inn. [before I went to law school]

(Shallow's Cousin) Judge Silence: That's fifty-five year ago.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Flowers and beauty are ephemeral, thus precious.

Pity about Renee and all of us too, one day.

I've always had a lot of questions about Paradise Vision - for one thing, I was one of their primary targets for harassment and abuse when they first launched. They were started by a girl named Gabrielle, who never revealed herself on camera - she was just an internet identity. Her idea of promoting her business was to viciously attack me and Realtickling, who were the two major producers at the time.

She used to post claiming that I had privately told her all my videos were fake, bombard the message board with insults on my appearance, and at one point she even wrote a bunch of m/m tickling fiction starring me and Max Speer, I guess in an attempt to humiliate me.

One of the hazards in this business is that you end up dealing with people who have no idea what they're doing. Without any clue how to market and grow a business, they resorted to personally insulting and harassing the competition.

And also the way they did things was sort of strange at first, as we discussed in the recent thread about their Miss Ticklish USA pageant. They didn't want to admit that they used models - everyone had to be a contestant, or a friend of theirs, or in one case they supposedly tricked a prostitute into being tickled against her will.

But the one thing you would never hear early PV admitting to was - we hired a girl to come to our studio and film a tickling video as a job. I think they felt like that compromised the integrity of the video - "Our videos are so real that we don't even pay the girls - it's almost just a coincidence that they're for sale being tickled on tape!"

Then later, Gabrielle supposedly retired and handed off the business to her mother Renee, who was pretty active and not afraid to be on camera at all.

Over time, I started to believe that Gabrielle was a fiction - a persona created by Renee because she was concerned that as a middle-aged woman she might be criticized or rejected by the community.

The handoff from Gabrielle to Renee was very conveniently timed - the TMF had gotten big, and the original alt.tickling boards were all disappearing. Switching from Gabrielle to Renee allowed Paradise Vision to reach out to me and apologize for the daughter's behavior, and ask for a fresh start.

Which they wanted because they wanted to advertise here, and at the time I had a ban on all of their content because I was, I think justifiably, pissed off at the way they had treated me.

In any case, in my mind the puzzle pieces never quite fit together smoothly. To me the simplest explanation - Occam's razor - is that it was all just Renee.

I could be completely wrong of course. It's just what I've come to personally suspect about it, with the benefit of a lot of hindsight.

Far be it for me to imply I've never enjoyed a good ticklefucker slap fight, but it's always amazed me at how willing "the professionals" have been to get involved in some really weird shit over the years.
