"The head of the Department recently made a program to help maintain staff welfare, boost morale and help the economy of the facility. The Lab has created many devices over the years and some are now available to rent by Doctors and Staff during their off time. The only restriction is that the Devices may not leave the D.T.K.A.66 premises, so they may only be taken to the Dorms.
Not only do these device rentals help the Department economy, they also provide vital "field test" data for some of the Labs more unique "Items". Case & point, Item #0011, a box powered by the newly refined D.I.S.C. tech so that a patient may be kept for decoration and entertainment purposes anywhere in a room or office. The Lab has been testing the use of it for other purposes as well. Here we see it in [REDACTED]'s Dorm room with Patient ID54419 Rebecca Quin (a.k.a Becky Lynch) on the nightstand, currently in configuration #4 "Training"."
