Hi All! I'm sure most of you Switch gamers know this already, and, as a matter of fact, I too have known about this flaw in the Switch for quite some time now.
Well. TBH, it's less an issue with the Switch hardware and more about the game cards.
Has anyone else had an issue with touching metal components on the back of the cards? I mean it only takes up about half the back of the card! I've lost two or three of my favorite games to Accidentally touching the metal.
And. The chance of an accidental touching is even higher when removing a game card from the box. I mean the two finger holes are right at the top of the metal.
In my opinion, Nintendo had a better grasp on the build of the Game Boy carriages. I mean you could still touch their components and mess them up, but it was almost impossible to do it on accident.
Nintendo *could've* and *should've* done a better job with this aspect of the Switch. I mean, as far as I know, they're the oldest gaming company to still by active.
