Just came back from a recent trip and thought I would share these two incidences.
The first just happened on Sunday. Going through the body scanner at the airport, my wife was stopped to be patted down. Apparently the way that my wife’s shirt gathered around her waist looked weird on the scanner. The buxom and actually kind of cute sandy blonde TSA agent asked my wife “Are you wearing a belt or something under you shirt?” When my wife said no, the agent said “I’m going to have lift your shirt and check your waist band.” My wife nervously replied “Ok but I’m pudgy.” (She’s not). The security guard replied “It’s ok, me too.”
The agent then took her fingers and ran them between my wife’s hyper sensitive stomach and waistband of her jeans. My wife is really ticklish everywhere, but her waist and belly button are cataplexy-inducing. Suddenly my wife yipped and let out a huge attention grabbing giggle. The sandy blonde haired TSA agent laughed at my wife’s almost knee-buckling convulsion. My wife said “Sorry, I’m really ticklish!” The security guard laughed and said, “It’s ok, me too!”
The other time happened almost 9 years ago. My wife and I flew to handle a family emergency. We were not able to fly back together because I had to stay to handle some affairs. At the time wife was a heavy smoker. She had a layover and walked outside of the TSA secure area. When she came back through security, she had to remove her white strappy cork wedge sandals. When her shoes went through the scanner, allegedly it set off the device that measures for nitrates and other potentially explosive compounds. He pulled her off to the side and explained what had happened. He said that they would be wiping down her shoes and then running the cloth through the scanner. I’ve had this done to my belongings, briefcase, shoes, etc. EXCEPT, there was this little bonus. The TSA agent then said he was going to wipe down her hands, and because she was wearing sandals, also her feet. He said that lawn services and such have components that set off the alarm and if she walked through treated grass, that could be the problem.
He asked her to sit down and hold her palms up. He grabbed his swab and proceeded to stroke it on her palms, which she said was already tickly, making her even more hyper vigilant about what was going to happen to her feet. He then asked her to lift up her foot, to which she reluctantly complied. Without hesitating, the agent briskly stroked it up and down her super sensitive soles. Of course my wife crumpled with laughter. He asked her to raise her other foot and she laughed “Do I have to?” She complied and on the other foot she was almost positive he deliberately tickled her. She said she was really embarrassed at how she was a laughing mess with all these people standing around and watching. Eventually, she was released from her detention to immediately call me and tell me “Honey, the TSA guy tickled my feet on purpose!”
