After Ross landed in OKC, he went to the hotel, and went to bed on Sunday night.
On Monday, Ross went to the office, had a morning meeting with Fritz and Steve, and then afternoon discussion with about twenty to twenty five investors.

"Ross , considering everything that is going on with you, let's just do an oil show, sign some people, make some dough, and then try to figure out a real estate situation more longer term,. Quick tidy cash makes more sense for you at this point in person. If Steve and me find something, and you honestly can't be here due to some commitment to Tim or your health, we can always have a conference phone call, and Zoom show, and you can give us your input with that, and any money commitment if needed. " Fritz said.
After dinner with the investors Monday night, Ross went to sleep at the hotel. Ross, Fritz, and Steve took the investors to the fields on Tuesday morning.
When the men and the investors got there, they were greeted by some good news, by some new decent sized oil fields that had come in, and a fat away but still on the land they owned, Natural Gas strike, which was the men';s and the company;s main source of energy.
"This is very good news to have these fields come in while you are showing these fields for investment to the potential investors. Here are the field hits, the projected numbers, and the rough estimate investment and return" The field foreman said.
"According to the numbers, for example,. a $100,000 investment would return a monthly return of about $2500 a month, and a complete return on anyone's investment within 3 years or 4 years max, after which anything else would be profit. Over the course of 10 years, which was how far ahead a potential investment return could be projected, someone's investment, could be doubled, depending on what other fields might be explored and would come in. "Fritz addded.
When the potential investors heard this, fifteen investors gave commitments and signed papers to commit to investments of anywhere between $25,000 and $100,000 investments in the company.
By nightfall, after a big dinner, the business was done, and Fritz said to Ross. "Get out of here and celebrate! Get the Hell on a plane to Las Vegas until Monday night! Tell the teacher when you get there! This is reason to blow off steam before you go back to dealing with whatever the Hell is waiting for you in New York, be it a company with your name, or a teacher" Fritz said.
Ross went to his hotel, packed, and jumped on a plane to Vegas. He checked into Ceasers, went to the ATM, took out five thousand, put it into the safe, went to his room, changed, had dinner, went back to the room, and called teacher.

I';m sorry I got on a plane without telling you, but I do not want to go into the RossShell office for the rest of the week. I need to celebrate and blow off steam. I can be home Thursday night if you want me to, or definitely Friday morning , your choice" Ross said.
"I'm very happy for you guys. Since I have to go to work Friday, you can come home either Thursday evening, or by the time I get home from school on Friday. I would rather have you relaxing and having fun, as opposed to home and tempted to go into the office if I'm not here all day. You can always tell anyone at RossShell that you had some other business to finish in OKC, no one will know. When you get home, we can do whatever to celebrate and then figure something else out" Kayley said.
Ross got off with Kayley, went to a seafood buffet dinner, and then to the casino. He played horses , winning $100, and penny slots, losing the $100 back. He was not playing seriously, because he was tired.
On Wednesday morning when Ross got up, he called the office. "Calling in to say that I left OKC last night. I had to come out to California for someone to show me a new company or venture to potentially promote or look at. This might be nothing, small, medium, or big. I dont know. Please dont expect me in the rest of the week. I will call Tim to tell him. Will definitely be in Monday" Ross said.
Then Ross called Tim. "Tim , good afternoon, OKC went well. I had to come out to California to meet a potential new client for either marketing work, an investment in something, or both. I will be here three days max, will be home Friday night at latest, and then can see you Monday to talk about things, okay?" Ross asked.

On Thursday, Ross called the office to check in for one minute. Other clients besides Tim had called, but Ross told Vic to tell them that Ross was away on business, and would be in the office that Monday.
Rather than fly all day Friday to get home to Kayley, he decided to take a red eye flight home on Thursday night, and arrive in JFK at 8 am,. He figured that doing this would make the teacher happy, as he had been there two full days, and would be there when teacher got home.
Ross called Kayley. "One more day here, teacher, midnight flight to JFK arriving at 8 am. I will either be in bed or in the apartment, when you arrive home on Friday. I am going to go wild today, and then tomorrow I am all yours" Ross said.
"How are you doing?" Kayley asked.
"Up and down, nothing dramatic. My biggest wins came from the investor shows, and the field potential. I am very happy with the way this trip went. Thank You for letting me have this break. Now I am ready to come hme, and be your husband" Ross said.

That day, Ross was up and down at the penny slots again, until just before he had to go to the airport, he hit a $1000 jackpot. His total win was in the high hundreds. Not the killing he usually made, but Ross had already made his killing in OKC, so he was satisfied with the Vegas trip just being restful
Ross's midnight flight took off. He got to the apartment alone by 9 am. Ross got undressed, crashed on the bed, and was sleeping at intervals.
Around 330, with the lights off, the teacher entered, and she gave Ross a kiss on the lips.
"Hi, teacher" Ross said, sleepily.
"How was the trip, oilman?" Kayley said.
"In Vegas, I won several hundred. That does not matter,. In OKC, something major happened that I want to explain when I'm not so tired. Its not about the company, but let's just say that some unexpected far away fields came in, a lot of investors signed up, and it could mean a mint. Please just lie here with me, let's snuggle, and then we wll go out to dinner. This will take a bit to explain" Ross said.
Kayley got into bed with Ross, they kissed, and snuggled,. and Ross felt truly content. Something he did not often feel.
Kayley seemed calm. The OKC trip had been a smashing success. Vegas had been a nice break, and Ross's mind was clear.
Hopefully the weekend would be relaxing.
