Clearly not true. Many people (including me) enjoy being tickled for over an hour as long as the tickler is somebody that we trust.

I mean, my GF can endure several minutes of gentle tickling (via a variety of instruments) granted it will cause her to buck and struggle against her bed bindings like a wild animal and it will eventually reduce her to a sweaty exhausted panting through her gag mess after about 20 to 30 minutes but she loves every single minute of it and so do I.
