"The Talk" with The Parents?

True Story - When my parents found out I was into tickling porn, they sent me to a psychiatrist. My parents were from the country, they didn't know how to handle it. It was just weird to them and they thought something about me was off. This was a learning experience for everyone involved. After the psychiatrist examined me, he determined that it was just an unusual fetish and there were other things out there that would have concerned him way more. Pedophilia, burning, pee or poop, there are tons of fetishes out there that I wasn't into. Tickle porn was the least of his worries. I had to explain to my parents that I was just wired this way, I Know it's unusual but it is what it is.

Did anyone elses parents or family freak out when they found out about this fetish?

I'm 90% sure I left tickleporn too easily accessed on the family computer at one time or another, praise god nobody in the family was dumb enough to confront me on it. A sibling once or twice over the years has made mention they've seen shit I forgot to erase in the history, but there'd been no traumatic intervention over it.

That sucks. Sorry to hear it even happened. My dad fpund a search for "womens soles" on the family computer, back when computers at home was a new thing. I had no coue about search history. He made a comment, so i just asked him about the pics of big breasted women i found on a disc of his. He never mentioned it again. Still, a little uncomfortable.

Omg, lol. I don’t really want to go into details, but my parents would have been… upset? Idk what would have happened. They would have freaked out, in two very different ways. Fortunately, I am no longer around them and they will never know!

It has been 20 years since that experience. Parents have since divorced. My relationship with both parents is healthy. I will never be best friends with them just because both of them live a vey different lifestyle than I do.

Back in about 2000/2001 ish I was caught looking at feet and tickling on the internet. My parents absolutely berated me over it. They told me I was weird and "not a normal boy". I remember my mother saying "I could understand if you were looking at breasts or naked women...but FEET? And TICKLING? What is wrong with you?"

I lost internet access for a few months and then had somewhat supervised access after that (my parents would check the history folder).

Took me a long, LONG time to get over that.

I thought they had forgotten about it - however many years later when I was about 20 I was talking to my mum about something I'd seen online and out of the blue she said "You don't still look at women's feet on the internet do you?"
I said "What...um, no. No of course not" and she replied "Good. I'm glad you grew out of that. It wasn't normal"

Christ....reading this thread just made me feel like a super old man. Back when I was a teenager there was no such thing as a family computer or internet. Had no tickle fetish material at all to get off to. You young folks don't know how lucky you all had it being teens in the internet age! LOL

I’m sorry to everyone who had these experiences. I can’t imagine my parent(s) knowing this about me, especially at a young age where you’re still figuring it out. Blah. I’ve def. Left some stuff sprinkled here and there (specifically printing out a Britney Spears tickle story and then leaving it in the printer) but I don’t think I've ever done anything that was incriminating enough for them to realize it was about tickling. Or at least I hope not.

My teenage years were spent in the rural midwest w/o internet, so no worries there! The only porn was magazines hidden around the house (in the wood shop, the upper bathroom shelf, back of a closet, etc.). I also moved away right after graduating from HS.

My father actually does know about my bdsm/tickling work, although not the specifics. We've talked about it occasionally, as he has his own interest in S&M, and he and his fiancee gave me a very nice flogger for my birthday one year. He thought it strange I love being a tickler so much when I hated when people tried to tickle me as a kid, so I got to explain to him about the different aspects of tickling and that ler and lee don't necessarily overlap.

When I was in elementary school, I was doing a school project that required me to do research on the internet. I was left alone at the computer all day and that was the first time I searched for tickling. I visited MANY websites and saw a lot of content. I also played computer games etc. so later that night or the next day my dad called me over to the computer & had the internet history pulled up (I didn’t know about search history until then) & he started going down the list of what I was looking at, (hadn’t mentioned the tickling stuff but I know he saw it) . I screamed for him to stop because I was mortified. To this day he never said anything about it but just knowing he saw it was enough to scar me for life. Heh, my dad caught me watching some of those videos red handed. I've repressed the exact memory of the moment but I vividly recall him sitting me down right after and saying, "Hey son, you know that pedos use tickling and stuff to groom kids your age right? You have to be really careful with that kind of thing." And then he told me he'd been groomed, in a way, but didn't elaborate how. I still don't know that story to this day, and I do hate my dad for entirely unrelated reasons, but that day he was an amazing father.
