We released The Agencies #25 on December 2015. It's been literally seven years since we produced an issue, so this is coming with a bit of emotion with it. When deciding whether to come back and produce comic books earlier in 2022, I spoke with Sinister-Lurker about some logistics. We discussed whether it made sense to reboot the entire comic lines since it had been so long since I published anything. We decided against it, because the storylines remain fairly intact, and there's a good history there to be excited about! I love that this is the 26th isssue I've published for this series. Sinister-Lurker, the same author as the Hunted series and some Tickle Magnet comic books, is taking over writing duties for the comic line, and I am really excited to hand the reins over to him. He has elevated the Hunted series with such an amazing approach and tone, that I cannot wait to see what he does for this comic line, as well.
We have hired two very talented artists to take over lineart and coloring duties for this series. I also cannot wait to see whast they produce together over the years.
On the cover, we see Agent Succubus and Yang working over some yet-to-be-identified (I mean, publicly anyway, we know who she is) interrogation subject. The story takes right over from The Agencies #25, where Agent Succubus comes back from the grave to take over the Kazazumi crime family house. Yang reports to her as a lieutenant, and the two are also enjoying a relativley peaceful continuation of the romance they started when Agent Succubus was in captivity. The interrogation subject is a chracter that has appeared in a REALLY early issue of The Agencies, and I'm glad that Sinister-Lurker has brought her back.
