Amazingly Warm Winter

Usually in most winters , Mitch posts expected heavy snow storms ready to hit NYC. Usually I put up at least a few a winter.

This winter, except for one day with light snow, a couple of days with flurries, and two or three really cold days that were clear skies, there has been nothing.

Most days have been at least in the 30s and 40s F, and some days in the 50s F.

There is/was a bit of flurries or wet snow this morning, but it is supposed to be sunny later today.

After this, more warm weather for the rest of the week, also in the 40s F.

I'm not complaining, as this is just fine with me.

One has to wonder, if there will be any cold weather and or snow in later January or Feb.

Right now, there is no sign of anything like such.

Well, don't tempt Mother Nature......

NYC has no cold weather in sight. 40s for the foreseeable future.

Of course, we can have a warm January, and then in Feb can get hit.

I only remember one big storm last year.

In 2020-2021 I distinctly remember the two major snowstorms.

In December 2020- a 10 to 14 inch snow'

Then, in Feb 2021, something like a 16-17 inch snow.

So far this winter, we've had exactly two or three freezing cold days.

We will see what happens

The temps are supposed to be in the low to mid 30s later next week

Cold, but not brutal.

Today is a steady rain, but no snow is in sight.
