NEST and Gatherings - Questions from a new user

Hi guys.

I'm brazilian and new around here (we used to have a forum for tickling in Brazil but was taken down years ago), and i was wondering about what is NEST (like what NEST stands for) and if we have this gathering every year, where's located and so on.

I'm glad if anyone can clarify my questions.

Are any gatherings like this on Europe or South America?

NEST stands for the northeast society of ticklephiles and is the largest tickle-focused gathering. It is held the first weekend in May in the general Philadelphia area (exact location is only given to registered attendees, for safety/privacy reasons). It’s basically a three day hotel party with 150-200 people who have a tickle fetish. There are workshops, classes, games, icebreakers, and networking opportunities for people to meet other ticklephiles, and find potential play partners. The only mandatory thing is registration and orientation and other than that, you are free to use the weekend as you please. Some people enjoy attending all of the scheduled events, others enjoy just chatting and meeting new people or hanging out with their crew, exploring the area, and of course, experiencing tickle (and other kink) play. Most people do a mixture of all of these things. The most important thing to remember is that while we’re all there because we share a kink, play is *never* a guarantee. This (and really any kink) event gives you the opportunity to network and meet people in a safe environment, but making connections is each persons responsibility. Yes, that many people can be very overwhelming, but imo it is a great event for newbies, as there are a lot of public events and there are usually 20-25 new people each year!
The UK hosts something similar called tickle-mania, but I don’t know any information on it.
