Patrick Ewing Fired As Georgetown University Coach

Georgetown University Men's Basketball Head Coach was fired on Thursday by the University after what was summed up to be "Six Disastrous Seasons " as the University's Men's Head Coach.

Before this, of course, Ewing was an NBA Hall of Famer, and had a long stint as an assistant coach in the NBA after his retirement from playing in the NBA

I suspect that we have not seen or heard the last of Ewing's coaching career, whether he returns to being an NBA Assistant or Head Coach, or coaches at another college.

Hopefully, Mr Ewing will find success as a coach on some level.

Not shocked at all. As a DMV native, I stay updated on Georgetown. You hate to see a school legend not work as a coach for the school, but it was time for a change.
