Like Steph said move to California , can set you up in great beach house , but then all you'll have to contend with are those big breaking waves , just bring a surfboard !!!!!

anyway the danger has past for now. thank you for your concern. it was touch and go there for a while but the creek is down for now. we get to look forward to loads of hot steamy weather the rest of the weekend..

When I was there over 4th of July, I saw alot of devastation caused by flooding in upstate New York, along the Upper Delaware River. Whole communities and businesses washed out. Fortunately the water levels have subsided, but if it doesn't rain for the rest of the summer, that wouldn't be such a bad thing!

yikes that is awful..

well to update..i am watching an emergency city council meeting being held right now, although i lucked out with not being flooded, other places in the city were hit like never before..whole houses wiped out, families with no where to go..i had no idea it was this bad.. in one area it is the worst flooding they have ever experienced..and people testifying right now before the council are crying as they talk about what they have lost..one father said his children are now terrified whenever it rains and scream and have nightmares... i really have no idea why our creek didn't flood as it has flooded before with less rain fall..
