New feature: search into the distant past

Anyone who has sought to search posts from the early days of the TMF may have noticed that they could only see results from just a year or two back. Thanks to an inspirational PM from venray searches can now go all the way back to the stone age of the TMF; "Find Posts from" on the Search Page now allows for searching for posts from 2 to 7 years ago. Say you wanted to search for posts in the neighborhood of 6 years ago. You would choose "6 Years Ago" and either "and Newer" to get posts from 6 years ago and newer or "and Older" to get posts from 6 years ago and older.

If, in "Show results as threads" mode you see threads with very recent last posts don't fret; checking the first post of the thread will reveal that the thread is old, some replies not. Try it out, eh? You might find a forgotten gem amongst all the aged posts. 🙂

Well, this is a nice feature, do not doubt. But there will be a downside. There is going to be a flood of "why doesn't this link work?" or "can't see the picture" posts. Ah well, take the good with the bad.

Yeah, Maybe we need to make the date stamps like.. font size 500..or something..
