I was playing call of duty 4 sitting in my beanbag chair against my bed listening to the new in flames cd. All a sudden my bed started vibrating, like a 18 wheeler was on the street rolling by. I was freaked cuz i didnt know what it was and i thought maybe a neighbor was complaining bout the music or my sub somehow caused a subsonic reverb, checked online curiously to see any earthquake info but since it just happened, no news was out, and im located about 66 miles north\northwest of chicago

I live just north of Indianapolis. I was just signing off after my usual breakfast chat with Embraceabl when my birds started going nuts in their cages. Then things were rattling and trying to fall of my bookcases. It felt like the rumble of a passing train but only lasted about 40 seconds. We had no damage around here.

We are due for a BIG quake soon in the heartland area. I think a couple hundred years ago, the New Madrid fault caused a quake so strong the Mississippi turned backwards. I hope I am dead and gone before that happens again.

It woke me up. My windows were rattling, and it took a few seconds to realize it was an earthquake.😱 Lucky for me no damage. We also felt an aftershock around 10 AM.

Earthquake Aftershock Today.

I just heard that there was another shake in Southern Illinois.
